Hyperbolically speaking, I see how you would feel that way.
It is felt already, just looking at killboards. Everything is exploding.
Well thats a pretty good thing then, that those who dont scout get smeared.
Basic rule of travel, I always thought.
One of the problems with the high sec Trig invasion is the speed in which some systems are flipped. There are times of the year I need to play as a casual player, sometimes only logging in 2 or 3 days a week. Systems can be flipped from high to null sec so quickly, it is very possible to have a large portion of your wealth trapped in what you thought was a “safe” NPC station. I got caught and trapped with about 20+ Billion of high volume goods in a flipped system. I can afford to leave it there and wait this crap out, most players would not be so lucky. Some players, especially newer, need all the goods they have gathered in order to advance in the game. Having your items trapped in an NPC station, in a system controlled by Trigs, for most players would equal starting over.
So players turn systems to either Trig space, equal to Null or a Edencom fortress. Can someone explain to me why 3 days later players could not attack these systems and turn them back one way or the other? Isn’t this just fighting Trig NPC’s to advance one faction or another? Is this a bad or broken game mechanic? I am not complaining, just generally curious. Think of the fighting and destruction that could be had if Niarja could be flipped back and forth.
Having your items “trapped” in an NPC station that has turned into a Trig system is the exact reason Jita will never be invaded by Trigs.
Thats more understandable. However, I feel a line drawn in the sand between Civilisation and those systems north of Narija may have a beneficial effect in the long run.
I doubt though that Trig controlled systems will remain as dangerous as people think they are for too long.
Then again, CCP so who knows.
It is very good situation for CCP, people will have to get more PLEX eventually, especially new guy. Good thing for those industrialists who somehow would be able to produce anything, which would be hard I think in High sec.
I have serious suspicion tho, that majority of established playerbase in high sec will take that thing quite negatively. CCP makes them do more stuff, or they have to pay more for convenience.
About the recon, not much people have alt for scouting. Its a thankless job usually.
I don’t know where are you from. But in my country people are still identifyed male or female (macho and fêmea).
Actually, its written in our citizen card.
K, set the bar high, but Afaik everyone has 3 character spaces automatically, or alternatively, they could like do it without an alt vOv
I know, ridiculous, eh.
A bit, but how do you call a game that demands that from you. Leaves you really with such options, engage in ridiculous… or pay and maybe still engage in ridiculous somewhere else.
There is really no stop to it. I am becoming tired of it.
Some people enjoy puzzle games
Or they dont let minor setbacks bother them
You know, a game does require things to overcome
If this gets rid of platespinning number accumulators, thats not a bad thing
Great, with a bit of luck Jita and the surrounding systems will become Trig as well.
Does have me wondering, what happens to all your stuff in the station. Everything my main character owns is all in one NPC station in an Amarr system, it’s only worth about 19 billion though.
For how long, how much obstacles… There just isnt enough energy in human to run marathon like sprinters do their run.
People will have to move out of high sec… Or just resign if they dont fit in.
There are so many games to enjoy.
Rip EVE, for some its over.
For the lifetime of the game?
Enough to keep the variety up and appeal to all levels of players through the game’s lifetime.
Look, if its curbing you, thats fine, you can say why, but the constant “think of the children” is getting dull there, Nana
Me, a lot of people I fly with. I dont know if you take part in Invasions or have been in high sec recently, but I am with people who do the invasion content there. Trigs, or EDENCOM, both sides are in a war, It looks like both are losing something important.
And the easy answer is not to be on either vOv
Profit from both
Maybe few industrialists will get a bit richer initially, but long term, I really fear it will just make high sec a scorched earth.
High Sec isnt just Caldari Space, as well you know.
I think the opposite of your position.
Its a bit messy now, but those who take advantage of it will be richer after the split
Off topic, much?
Don’t hold your breath.
It’s interesting to see how the Trigs are CCP’s pets but beyond that… yep, boring.
About as interesting as watching Desert Storm on CNN.
Good promotional advertisement ?
They think it’s their game
Null players are always salty because most players don’t want to hang up with them so they force thier “friendship” on others. Sad, toxic people.
