I agree. Yet, every MMO has its toxic community. That’s ONE thing EVE shares with real life: Jerks.
I’ll take my arguments to them in-game in the form of PvP. There’s no better point than a huge KA-BOOM in the dead of space. No use complaining on a forum. I’m training to take the fight to them. I may even start a corporation in the express purpose to make their life in EVE a chore.
Heh, good for you I quess but they spend years in this game ganging on people 24/7, whats the point?
Even if you were a 100% pro it will take years to even level up your characters skill just on level that will give you a chance.
The curve in this game is impossible for new players to overcome.
PvP is its own point. And nothing holds me from creating my own gang. I already have two irl friends who are interested in playing and be in fleet with me.
The gankers don’t have monopoly on ganging on people.
It’s okay, I’m a very patient person. Revenge is a dish best consumed cold and it’s very cold in space, lol
Not true. Completely false. The learning curve is steep, yes, but not ‘impossible’ to overcome. There are literally HUNDREDS of off-game online resources to overcome that curve in the form of tutorials/help/wiki/apps… Plus, LOTS of players are willing to give up some of their time to explain and show you what’s best to do and not do. CCP has tons of informative videos and even in-game, tons of info for someone willing to take the time to read, research and ask questions…
‘Impossible’ isn’t in my vocabulary and if it’s in yours then you won’t have a good time in EVE.
Might the ingame map filters for “ships destroyed in the past hour / 24 hours” be useful to see where those things are likely to be?
Also, you can’t leave EvE, you need to make more EvE graphics, ok.
I notice many Blue Star systems have ice belts.
I’d say you are right starting from around post 122.
Everytime i log on the boards and see someone spouting “invade Jita” i start laughing because how can CCP possibly have a fight in a system that regularly has 4000 people when their node dies with just 2000 people fighting at once?
Its like the players demanding CCP flout its problems as badly as possible in an attempt to ruin what is left of EvE. You really think people new and old won’t notice how trash the game is running when they do that? I think its pretty obvious there is a section of community that wants EvE to die and they know this is the quickest path to it.
Once the fighting starts there’ll be maybe a few hundred people in system.
There is at least 2000 people in Jita who never leave the station, they don’t care who is living outside.
Send in enough Trigs, they destroy all the ships in space and capsules, everybody ends up in the station, the server will probably cope then.
I bet that will make a great news article how a 20 year old game keeps crashing over and over that will do wonders for recruiting.
They’ll leave when the reason for them being there leaves.
You don’t flout your errors as successes thats how games collapse.
Locking this thread while I go through and clean it up a bit
Ok, reopening now. I’ve cleared up a bunch of off-topic discussion. Please stick to the thread topic.
My low-level interest lamp is not lit.
taps her low-level interest lamp
Nope.
Ironically, there are more EDENCOM-fortress systems right now in the game than Triglavian ones. Looks like they are actually losing the war!
Thanks to the synchronization with Serenity gifting us their finished Trig systems. Apparently the Chinese players get off on bulldozing Trigs like we are getting off on bulldozing EDENCOM-ships.
I wonder what they think of us, “gifting” them all those final liminarized Trig invasion systems?
Just to bad, that Fortresses do not change the systems.
But Final Liminality do.
