I never said that. Good try rewriting my posts though. C+ for effort.
Thats was you. And it is plain wrong. It only works against AFK miners, the easy solution is “just move” and the problems dissolve into thin air. A 500MN Stabber simply doesn’t hit a moving target reliably and hard enough to disrupt the mining, period. Only afk players and plain idiots can be stopped from mining with a Stabber.
This was your claim- that I said this:
I never once said THAT. I didn’t even say that in the post you just now quoted:
Sorry, but you’re making all of this up. I don’t know why, but you are.
Here is what I ACTUALLY said:
I said that bumping before an attack to stop a barge from entering warp has no counter if the bumper remains neutral. If you attack the bumper, Concord will destroy your ship. If you do nothing, the gankers will destroy your ship.
It had NOTHING to do with being bumped across an ice field. You should really learn to read. They have courses that you can take for free.
he is not, you can onehit a orca away from the icefield
Oh I know. I’ve seen it happen. I said that in an earlier post.
I welcome you to see a bumper in action, a Machariel only needs a few meters to start bumping me many km away in a mac, he starts from 0 after crashing into a ice cube, gets around when am despratly trying to move me around again, he hits my back whit a little touch and gets me like 5km away and than he just rams me out of the field and there is notthing there is to do than just flood the icefield whit miners, but they dont like the hassel whitout a orca to compress and boost, but you need 3-4 orcas to flood the bumper, but still its a hassel to wait for core to turn of, warp away than warp back again to just repat getting bumped out
DON’T
USE
THE
CORE
IF
HOSTILES
ARE
AROUND
Is that so crazy complex to understand? A player who continiously bumps you is a hostile player. He either wants to drive you off or is preparing a Gank. The moment he enters the local (yes, you set him red for your corp the first time he does it) you instantly switch tactics to a “moving fleet”. If you don’t know how to avoid being bumped in a bigger ship, use smaller and faster ships. He will be totally helpless if you bring a Command Destroyer + 10 Endurances for example (if you can’t manage to evade him with a Moving Porpoise and Barges (10MN AB fits)). You can even mock him, because you can still mine (less yield, but the ball is in his court now), while he can just bump thin air. He is wasting time, he will realize very quickly that you just laugh at him and that he is the one having the shorter end of the stick now. Just be more stubborn than him, he will soon look for other targets to harass.
Hey, just make a Daredevil alt and allow friendly fire in your corp or start a duel and web your ship with 2 or 3 webs.
But I get less yield without core online!! /s
In fact I usually don’t even have a core equipped while mining in null sec. The added risk isn’t worth it for me. People just don’t realize that cores are optional, that boosts still massive without one and that cores are only to be used in situations where you can manage to keep yourself safe despite the added risk you take by activating the core.
