Start doing something to cut down on scammers. I understand its “your fault for falling for it” but Jita is 99% scammers spamming the chat. Players leave the game because of scammers. The whole death lose things is nothing compared to a player losing things cause scammers exist. People deal with them enough in real life why should we have to tolerate them in a video game?
I already expect people to cry about this comment or recommendation, most likely because they are a scammer themselves.
This sounds like anti-capitalism and I take offense to that! Say what you will about me, but leave the free markets out of it!
If I want to sell 100 Plex at 56million a piece in a sea of 6 million sell orders that’s my business. I paid the broker fee the trap is set if your to drunk or blissfully unaware button smashing and get caught for 9billion I’m taking it and not caring.

I’m sure there are a variety of reasons players leave. I don’t think scamming is necessarily in the Top 5, but I don’t think it’s in the Bottom 5, either.

Simply turn the notification for Jita local off and minimize the channel.
Local is 99% useless anyway. Don’t read it. Problem solved.
