I would argue most business are not concentrating on new customers. They are focusing more on making their current customer loyal customers which is far cheaper than trying to convert new customers.
CCP absolute does it, though. They nerf one thing, buff the other or introduce completely new features that affect the game’s culture by bringing in new minds with new interests. They’ve been doing that for years. The new co-op PvE mechanics for highsec are one current example. Their slow shift towards PvE/PvP equality is another.
That’s why I left. It makes no sense that it’s profitable for a hi-sec ganker to jack a medium sized load of Veldspar.
Well, that and the fact that pretty much everyone tells you it’s your fault and you’re playing the game wrong for mining Veldspar in hi-sec to begin with.
These tears are nectar.
Have fun in hello kitty online!
Its a matter of taste, but leaver tears are bitter-sweet.
Less players=less content.
Nothing of value was lost.
Wait, so people told you it is a stupid thing to do, you did it anyway and now you blame the game for it and quit?
Also ganking miners is not really profitable, we do it anyway, because we care.
That’s a generalization that does not stand the test of reality. Anyone leaving because of normal gameplay does not want to play this game, he wants to play a different game. When a carebear joins this game, he does not add any content except MAYBE as a target.
Your statement is invalid.
Every player provides content.
Non-players provide no content.
Your statement is as irrational as it is false.
To make it really simple for you:
-Every player in EVE is part of the content of EVE.
-Somene that does not play EVE, is not part of the content of EVE.
Capiche?
Nope, that’s wrong. “Capiche” … what are you, an insecure teenager with inferiority issues? People aren’t equal, your generalization lacks base in reality.
Someone hiding from afk cloakers provide no content.
mission runners who avoid all interaction provide no content.
there, that’s two and enough to prove your claim false.
grow up.
You got that right…
A combination of
- Boredom
- Work & Family responsibilities.
When you have a limited timescale for gaming, and when ‘content’ in eve takes forever to organise and actually start happening, you find yourself having to log-out 5 minutes before the fun actually starts to happen.
Subbing was never an issue, so plex pricing was irrelevant.
There is no need to reply to me, or talk to me in whatever form, because i am not reading whatever leaves your fingers. you don’t deserve the attention you get.
have a nice day anyway.
The unknown is a worry which is human nature.
The content comes from putting yourself in a position to kill the afk cloaked.
I remember when you waited for an afk cloaker in stain, the other other alt I think his name was, and managed to kill him, when I logged on he’s was crying in local and you was winding him up. Lol. I was laughing to myself for ages. Epic content in my opinion.
People need to undock for that, though.
Yeah that was one of my favourite hunts that, I set him up with his windup MTU’s by reinforcing them and getting him into a pattern and he was too dumb to realise. Thanks for reminding me of that, made me chuckle remembering just how butt hurt he was.
He ejected to get his pod out
Maybe you can start actually playing the game rather than troll posting about the game…
Lol, he didn’t even have anything fitted, this just shows its good to take on these people. He had no intention of doing anything.
Later on he was using a SB with rockets and then put a cyno on, but it was pretty pathetic. The issue was that a few tender souls gave up due to this camper which was a real shame. Anyway his next loss was to a POS, what a loser.
Think you might be right here.
Yes that’s right, its a shame, I did manage to get a few guys into assault frigs about a year before this. We used to belt rat even when a cloaky camper was there.
He tried to blops our af’s many times, we were able to escape from 2 black ops ships once the cov cyno was lit. He couldn’t even point us once he uncloaked. These times we were bringing in over 1.5 billion a week in loot. Also we knew he played earlier than gmt time so most times it was obvious he was afk. The good old days.
