I recently bought a character on Eve Bazaar, and it came with a -0.88 negative EDENCOM rating. Assuming that wasn’t a problem, I ignored all notifications and put my Golem on autopilot. And you guessed what happened: I lost not only the Golem, but also the POD. I thought to myself, “That won’t happen to me again,” but I didn’t pay attention and jumped into an EDENCOM system, and within five seconds, the second Golem was shot down by 30 Edencom ships that were already at the gate. Since then, I’ve tried to repair the standing, but without success. I went to Pochven for that, but that also resulted in Tengu loss. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s impossible without a fleet. But nobody wants that, because its anything but profitable and has too many consequences. Perhaps it’s an idea to implement some kind of ARC mission to repair this standing?
You could go to a trig minor victory and shoot them instead.
Course, I’d rather be negative with EDENCOM than with the trigs. EDENCOM systems are easy to just warp through, trig gate camps actually fit points.
Your actual problem here was autopiloting. Never autopilot.
I also thought the EDENCOM system was easy to navigate, but that’s not true. The frigates locked me out instantly.
I tried the minor victory with a Gila and they broke the tank in seconds
Fit a cloak and an MWD. I was Trig through the whole invasion arc and irreparably hurt my standings, and I’ve never had trouble going through EDENCOM systems. Granted I don’t use the autopilot.
They can break a marauder too, best done in a small fleet, or try grinding on HS WHs into Pochven
An arc wouldnt matter as the only way to fix standings is to shoot drones in pochven, to keep both sides happy, plus standings dont share, so you still have to do most of the work yourself.
You can fix your EDENCOM and Trig ratings in high sec space. Scan down Deepflow Rifts. Enter with a fast tracking, tanky ship with 3 tractor beam. Overcook the rift on purpose. Kill the drone spawns. Rinse and repeat. It will take you 10 to 15 sites to fix a -0.88 rating.
