[ARC] Humanitarian Provisions for Triglavian Collective

Apologies for being a little side-tracked here, it just grates a little that people try to demonize what they don’t understand. Especially when they do so by pointing out traits that just as easily define those doing the judging.

The important point for this thread is were there any survivors, or at least remains found? If so what information has been gleened from them? If CONCORD expect us to go jumping into Trig space they should at least furnish us with all possible information beforehand.

ANd it’s exactly why I’m inclined to think that the ship was found devoid of life (therefore why they said “retrieved”) of course they could say whatever they want, we have next to no way of pressure on concord…
So we can only hope they’re not hiding information ( even if it’s likely ^^’ )

For a purely biological level, I can only tell you to read the autopsy report of a drifter’s body.

But i can remind a few facts about drifters. Apologies if you knew them already but some of the replies here gave me the impression that was not the case. Thanks for your understanding.

• they started using cloning as a way of reproduction during the second empire ( 2000-3000 years ago) about the same time the sleeper faction went into ainokis.

• they look not mich like us physically because of their massive genetical modification, which led to the apparition of the jove disease.

•the drifter body is technically functioning and some factions in new eden go as far as the drifters in term of mechanical augmentation.

I do know this, which is why i didn’t ask or imply about that. I’m asking if, the bodies they are using were straight up frozen corpses or if they were broken down into biomass to be turned into new bodies. The answer to this question is the crux of Avios issues with the drifters

Does it really matter? Either case it’s a clone.

Maybe I misread the autopsy, but I thought the core was a Sleeper corpse, but with the sleeper implants more or less fully intact in the brain, then the apply the Drifter augmentations, and repair any bits of the body that had become too damaged after so long unattended.

Sorry if that came across as harsh, it wasn’t intended

I havent seen it in a while. I’ll have to go back over it. And even if that’s the case. What’s to say they haven’t changed their methods? The last bit is conjecture but still worth considering

I agree, but the point is to try and reason with him. I don’t put stock in any religion so I am appealing to logic and reason.

I really think this is the wrong thread for this discussion.

They literally said ‘captured’. They used that exact word. Not ‘retrieved’, not ‘found’, not ‘waltzed on whilst it was spinning out of control due to lack of a pilot’. They said ‘captured’.

Scope said that

during the SoCT gathering, the Concord representative used “recovered” (around 15:58). While I agree on the double meaning of the word, we can’t know for sure.

Anyway I agree of the highly possibility that CONCORD used force to get this ship.

(OOC: at the time of the fan fest, only what CCP burger said as the concord guy is in character)

Soooo, the Scope very recently released further information about the first encounter with the triglavians.
Concord Enforcer class cruiser was dispatched to survey abysal deadspace it was immediately atacked by 3 triglavian frigates,it managed to destroy the initial forces but the nature of abysal deadspace forced it into another pocket where the triglavians destroyed it.

There is no mention of any warning sent out by the triglavians, they shot first.

Did CONCORD warn the Triglavians they were sending a warship into their home?

Well the ticker in the latest The Scope news mention that:

“Sisters of EVE demand humanitarian access to any surviving crew on recovered vessel”

Belatedly, the Scope has also confirmed Society of Conscious Thought support for Capsuleer-led exploration of abyssal deadspace zones. While ARC continues to hope for diplomatic overtures to assist the Triglavian Collective against the Drifters, the simple truth is that independent capsuleers presently have no means to achieve this, and those powers in position to attempt it are militating for exploration despite the likelihood of hostilities with the Triglavian Collective.

We’ll continue to observe how this develops.

Wisdom, gained though one’s lifetime as they carry on and experience new or redundant things. Then, take those experiences and use the knowledge they provide to be innovative, catious or just informed.

Wisdom cannot be given, but fore warning can. Those that have gone out and did all there is to do and seen all there is to seen and felt all that there is to felt. Can only speak of such experiences, those they talk to will have to venture forth and experience these things themshelves to truly understand. To obtain that wisdom.

But oh can wisdom be faked. All it takes is one with a silver tongue to peddle lies that will do far far more harm than good. One will claim wisdom in this field…But would’ve never stepped on it once in their life. Their wisdom, is a forgery.

Could it be that the triglavians are part of new edens past I’ve heard the words spatial temporal anomalies mentioned alot lately in regards to the environment more commonly called abysal deadspace
