I think we need to put our heads together for the audio processing because there is CLEARLY something hidden in that audio. Enough people have found “stuff” for it be just random luck I think…

Ain’t it the truth, darling. It is painful, and it is quite possible there isn’t actually a “solution.” It is at least two separate broadcasts.

I thought I heard “we are looking for” … something in a few places.

I had been thinking the “emanations” part hits at the end, because I’m confident about “we are” and the cadence is similar to “we are the emanations of the clades blah blah blah.” But the names are clearly wrong.

Now Yaaar’s post has raised the prominence of “looking for” to my ears, and now I think it is coming through at the end. In fact, it might even be “we are looking for the star of…” (and of course that is completely indecipherable at least to me).

What do you get at the end of the file, Yaaar?

On repeated listens: “We are looking for the star of all men.” (1:01 in my video, but that may certainly be my theological Sisterhood fetish).

I couldn’t make it out, but this is sounding promising so I will take another look at it from scratch to see what I can come up with - happy to collaborate if two heads are better than one for cracking this mystery?

Look at the very end. I think you nailed it with hearing “looking for” more prominently than I did, and now I’m really getting "looking for the star of … " and that star is pretty dang important.

Gonna re-examine it in detail yeah!

At 00:23 I think I hear something like “none of us must be” and then some word ending with -tive or -ive. Also I am pretty sure the last words of the tape are “low” or “no control”.

By the time I take another look I’m sure you’ll have probably found something.

Now I’m getting “we are looking for the start of all mankind” at the end, but I’ve been listening too much and am hearing what I want to hear.

Slow it down by half, normalize it, ignore everything except the last ten or so seconds (of the slowed video), and fiddle. That’s the payoff, and third, fourth and fifth opinions will probably be needed.

Looking at the audio through a spectrum filter I can see a lot of patterns in it, but I am trying to work out if the file is suffering from some sort of reverb/echo as it sounds like it might be but I have no idea how to remove it?

Oh, there’s reverb in there, all right. And distortion. There is also an “echo” - but that is actually how the Zorya communicate (three speakers). I tried to equalize out the distortion, but the Zorya’s vocals get washed away if you go too far.

That’s what I’m finding yeah. I’m trying to see if there’s anything to the spectral analysis of the audio file but it’s not yielding much at this stage.

There’s also a “normal time” transmission ("of honor… of honor and ") which I think should be completely ignored (and of course served as a very convenient distraction). It is not the Zorya speaking.

I’m not hearing that part in particular. It’s really annoying because I can tell there’s a voice in there but it’s so garbled - trying to ungarble it isn’t successful, well at least with my attempts it isn’t :open_mouth:

As soon as you slow down the track and start equalizing it, the “of honor” speech will fall out. But you’ll hear “honor” fairly clearly at around 0:12 in the original video. But be warned: it’s a trap.

I’m not messing with the speed of it just yet - the “Looking for us” I heard was at normal speed so that feels like it can’t be a coincidence. It’s trying to clear it up enough to tell what’s before and after it that’s the tricky bit.

Wouldn’t ‘The start of all manind’ be EvE Gate for New Eden?

Eve gate, or what lay beyond it. [Remember we don’t really know more than that in character.]

As an evil nun, I’ve had a EVE Gate fetish for basically a decade, and consequently concede that “we are looking for the start of all mankind” is very subjective.

It Is Recognized.

Going All In On Subjectivity, because why not: the Triglavians are looking for the Gate. The Isogen-5 theory about Porevitium is correct. The explosion of said Gate, a gigantic artificial wormhole, created Isogen-5 signatures in surrounding stars. The closer to the Gate, the more Isogen-5. Stars that are “high stable” would preserve the mineral for long periods. “High stable” stars have strong hydrogen lines. By measuring the Isogen-5 levels in those stars, the Triglavians can “unwind” the explosion back to the Gate.

Absolutely, this is rampant speculation. I enthusiastically encourage others to take cracks at the last ten seconds of the video’s audio to come up with phrases other than “start of all mankind.”

Problem For Me: if the Triglavians were part of the Second Jovian Empire, they should know where the Gate is. However, it may not be so easy for them to map locations in their current space to locations in our space.
