and what are the 5 we have
2 letters were recently. 3 quite a long time ago. Above there is a search for stars from letters
Mista is definitely the map. However, neither the Caldari nor Hedion University stations in that system match the station shown in first broadcast. Mista is in Domain, and therefore the Nation vessel does relate to it.
Two broadcasts with the same system map but different stellar statistics and one mysterious station.
Perhaps the Collective meant to show a different system in the first transmission…
Quick result: the temperatures and luminosities given to us as part of that data are not standard format, since neither set of 2 applies to any star in new eden
yeah, still confusing. do we have any more leads on what the star in the video looks like? we know that the total number of systems with that station is still pretty low so one could get close with just that
(Updated with new evidence)
Sorting the systems by their Dazh Cat produces this:

No immediately obvious patterns emerge here - but I’d expect a “DAZH CAT I” entry to arrive soon.

hmm, artoun (and thebeka for that matter) contain the amarr station from the vid. interesting
On further looking back, I’m not sure whether or not it’s Judra - will have to investigate more thoroughly.
It isn’t Judra. We should track it as “Judra” to keep the statistics matched up with the station, but we don’t have the right star yet (probably). It was an attempt to best match a map that turned out to be Mista with a system containing the correct station type.
Short of another transmission, it would be very difficult to identify the correct system. There are several dozen of the station types, the Nation presence cannot be attributed to the first broadcast, and the map seems likely to be an error on the transmitting end.
So the lights on the station are obviously inactive - I’m going to investigate some ruins in the general same area, perhaps one will match more accurately. Near-certainly, the starmap shown in the video is an error on their part - it shows the same in two observational records.
Edit: Investigating a lead I may have found - will update as I learn.
SYSTEM IDENTIFIED: GELHAN
A potential clue came while investigating forgotten Amarr outposts scattered across space. An image of this specific one (as all of them are different) was captured over 5 years ago by Capsuleer Thabnken Aih’Haken; upon seeing it I was certain, but I decided to fly over and take a look for myself.
No signs of Triglavian activity - just as the others were, nothing unexpected.
Star details:
Spectral Class: G2 V
Luminosity: 0.58
Radius: 492 000 km
Temperature: 5698 K
Systems, connected in sequence:
Well done!
Tangent: you should update Judra in your summary above.
Surprisingly, an error with Judra helped find Mista
Inside the triangle there is 1 nodal system. A blow to it will lead to sad consequences. I will assume that 1 will be Hati
A supergiant and white dwarf (“alpha and omega”) remain at large. The conspicuous sequence is not necessary for triangulation, however, so the Triglavian interest does appear to be focused on the “Hatori Disk” itself - what is that, about 10 light years in radius?
Given their wormhole/gate/filament technology, the Triglavians could avoid opening another front and providing us with salvage opportunities by locating their forward star killer platform in systems we cannot reach. However, if the Hatori Disk is roughly the territory they settled upon emerging from the Gate, a desire to Reclaim that territory may prevent them from acting rationally.
A new technologically advanced empire emerging in the Eastern Amarrian Empire might represent an opportunity to bridge certain cultural divides and move Mankind forward into a new age of exploration and expansion… lol. There will be explosions and salvaging opportunities.
Just a possibility here, but have you considered that the sansha nation vessel may have come from a Sansha incursion, instead of being found as the regional pirates?
This is New Eden. Peace is always too much to ask for.
ah, I’m very sorry. I didn’t know
