[ARC] Solicitation for Enclave Boarding Mission Parameters

As I said, just checking.

I thought you were just annoyed that I’d used PL as an example of a nullsec capsuleer superpower and not goonswarm.

But there you are again, feverishly :words: at people.

Really makes you

I’ll be honest here: It never ceases to amaze me how consistently people seem to think that’s some kind of ‘gotcha’. It’s like they expect that ‘but you’re a GOON’ is somehow going to make me go ‘oh no, you’re right! I’ve been discovered!’

I know what I am. I openly cop to what I am. It keeps me from having to make pathetic little backpedaling explanations of like ‘I’m not saying I’m better, I’m just wondering how you can claim you are!’ Cuz, you know, I don’t claim it. This latest round of planning reckless provocation against an enemy of our own making doesn’t rise to anywhere near the level of crap we’ve done. That doesn’t make it ok.

You don’t gotta burn Jita to be a pirate.

Mostly it makes me think you can’t stop trying to latch onto one pithy meme after another trying to look clever. I’ll admit, though, I liked it better when you were suggesting smoothie flavors.

That’s some beautiful words from someone whose Alliance is actively invading someone else’s space. People who actually live in that space rather than fleeing to VR. But hey, lets care more about the feelings of those and their abominations than actual people getting invaded. And if Goonswarm stopped attacking anyone, surely you could mine in peace without anyone ever attacking you. That’s how it works, right? Right?

Call me crazy, but I actually prefer to side with living people who sticks to the real world. And since the Drifters don’t do diplomacy we got limited options.

Fixed that for you. Wanna know how long a grudge is? Sort was Sir Molle’s protege. The Great War never ends.

But, you know, thanks for illustrating my point about how this sort of thing can become a bitter hate-fest until the extinction of one side or the other, if you don’t know when to stop escalating.

I don’t like the goons just ad much as the next guy or gal, but i agree with her. She is right, and hypocrite or not, the drifters are a much more dangerous threat than goonswarm is if the drifrers are provoked

That was a gambling machine, you uncultured barbarian. Is it only Sansha’s Nation that recognises the imagery of a puggy when they see a line of three fruit?

But if it’s a drink suggestion you want then :broccoli::cucumber::eggplant:

And really makes you  is one of the automated phrases this comm device comes with.

Fully automated luxury space posting.

The future is now.

((TFW your character’s only reply is to totally misinterpret the emojis as a sexual reference. I can’t even, right now.))

People keep talking about how the Drifters are this almighty force that cannot be stopped. Well if your choice is to flee like rats go ahead. But I refuse to live at their mercy and I will do what it takes to stop them.

Ohh I see. You want us to stop doing the same mistake as Goons did, so we don’t end up becomming a victim of our own stupidity. I see. I see.

Sarcasm aside. It looks much more like you are doing the ancient childhood argument of who started it. My primary concern is that we are the ones who ends it. And no. My words to not illustrate your point. No matter how hard you twist them.

You are correct, they can be stopped, but at what cost. If you keep poking at them the same way the amarr did, they may not attack only military targets next time.

Pretty much, yeah. And the problem with ‘I don’t care who started it’ is that we’re not the only ones who get to make that decision. ARC and all of its affiliated pilots keep saying ‘we’d love it if they’d be peaceful and communicate’, but their actions work directly against that possibility.

If they wanna say ‘look, we’re giving up on peaceful study and we’re just gonna go beat the crap outta these guys’, then that’s fine. That was Ali’s viewpoint on the whole thing, and I never gave her crap about it. But they’re trying to posture as one thing while behaving in a completely contradictory way.

You don’t see us going around claiming our small expeditionary force is attacking GotG for scientific reasons, do you? You wanna be a monster, be a monster, but be honest about it. Own your actions.

They didn’t limit themselves to military targets. As someone who was on field during the Influxes, the Drifters also targeted trade and industrial facilities.

This is the first I’ve heard of it, can I see proof?

In any case, let’s focus this thread on parameters and technical matters for Enclave boarding.

I would recommend either Somebody Please Think of the Drifters for discussing how monstrous ARC is, or [ARC] On-going Vigilant Tyrannos raids against Society of Conscious Thought targets for discussing the on-going Drifter attacks.

But these topics are relevant here as well. You say you want to do the same thing the amarr did but with warclones. Do you forget the empress was assassinated for the same actions?

Oh goodie! We get to play rehash ALL THE OLD TOPICS!

Rehash, no. But until arc addresses these concerns instead of calling the opposition trolls, the same arguments will continue to return over and over again.

It’s not an IGS thread if the Amarr aren’t to blame for something.

Well they did invade sleeper space to get implants for their templar project, and shortly after the empress was assassinated by drifters. Not that large of a leap to see why

I’ve never seen you actively try to engage with anyone outside the IGS. Maybe if you did, people would take you more seriously.
