Attributes are pointless

And make them Omega only.

I was disappointed when they cancelled Altered Carbon

Yes, everyone needs to be born with 4 gigabillion unallocated SP. Things like being able to make a skill queue, should not be a benefit to players, these without a brain can’t keep up. The game must be made easier, faster!

Me too. I loved that show!

I don’t take this game so seriously as to go around and obsessively post on the internet about other people who play the game not being human. Or read hundreds of pages of fictional lore and presume it’s the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but truth. Nor am I gonna go and waste my time on watching videos on stuff I couldn’t care less about.

And it is your interpretation. Or maybe not. It starts looking more like you’re taking it too literally and forcing it down the throat of others just because the bible lore says so.

There are no facts to this fictional universe that doesn’t even exist. Get your head out of your hole.

EVE lore says capsuleers are ā€˜posthuman’, but that term is just as specific as ā€˜ā€™taking place ca 20,000 years in the future’’. Nobody in this world has experienced a ā€˜posthuman’ state. It’s all open to interpretation. And you don’t have the authority over it.

I know who I am. I am human. And so is my character. Lore changes and is modified on a regular basis, and it is also made up by the people who play the game. I’m the one in the game who retained his humanness even though stuffed with so-called ā€˜ā€™advanced technology’’. I may be among you, and look like the rest of you. But I’m not like you.

You go be some non-human entity and relinquish your humanity. You sound very proud of that. I won’t tell you what to be, and you can’t tell me who I am or how I see the game and my character.

The ironing is delicious

So you’ve been playing a game for 15 years, never bothered to learn about the setting, and now you get pissy when someone calls you out for making false assertions? Got it.

Okay, boo. You do you. I’m done engaging.

That’s all in your head. Like many of the other things.

Should have stopped that already a couple of posts ago.

I think of myself more as a vampiress.

Each day on Earth is one year in EvE Online. Every second is about six minutes, due to relativity. That’s real lore. I am rather young for such a successful blood raider, I am barely 2000 years old.

A lot of people say my beauty inspires them, and that is why I clone myself continually, to stay in perfect form. I don’t actually need to enter a capsule to fly my ship, because I have a directlink mind cable. This way I can be there and celebrate with my crew as we drain the miners. I’ve always felt bad for basegrade alpha and omega clones, which have to use a disgusting pod.

I like the attribute system, because it forces you to make choices, and decisions have consequences. I’m disgusted by those who continually want to dumb down and simplify the game. Complexity and challenge are the best aspects of gameplay, and I like having to plan a skillfocus over the next year. Currently, believe it or not, but I’ve been working on perception and willpower. Can you believe that?

Somehow i think you actually dont know what they do?

Actually its the core skills that do that, the magic 14 of ship skills; granted its these that really give you the advantage if your at level 5 in all but iff ccp wants new players to come into the game on even the slightest par with others - it is these skills that should go.

There’s nothing magical about the ā€˜magic 14’.

Stop trying to burn them at the stake.

The ā€˜magic 14’ are neither magic nor core skills. Their advantage at earlier levels is much bigger per SP than the level 5 and I would recommend against telling new player to train these skills to level 5, besides the two fitting skills.

These skills shouldn’t go away any more than any other skills. They’re not special, only seem so because someone once thought these skills are important.

Tell me, how important is it really how much capacitor your warp drive drains? If you’re mining or fighting, does it really matter?

These are minor support skills at best.

Its literally just what they are known as?

Navigation and acceleration control are arguably the most important skills for pvp as are the gunnery/missile skills and yes, engineering/capacitor skills; if you actually do anything in eve of course.

Every new player should start with Titan Mastery V.

It’s only fair.

No, they are not.

agreed

if your speaking to me the navigation skills allow you to better control range in pvp and range is often what wins.
Its also why alpha clones are severely handicapped in pvp.
