I can tell you, we haven’t had such clear night skies in many, many years.
Same same, but from home office.
Since we are in “boring destopia” timeline I have startend to call this “the boring fallout”.
Suddenly a huge amount of people live in their own office.

Post must be at least 5 characters.
I wish i could do home office, but i’m a Taxi driver in Dresden, Germany and if this drought continues, our company among others could close until it’s over and what am i doing then?(edited)
Good to see you, Sol. o/
Doin good.
Will get worse.
Vault 42 checks in. We are surviving, but the beer is running short.
@Solstice_Projekt how are you holding up buddy?
Our government has been acting retarded since the start of the year and I just wish the PM would fly back to his Hawaiian holiday so he has to quarantine on return.
Other then that, it seems Australia is full of doomsday preppers which I would have never guessed (except Queensland…they’ve always been weird up there, and Victoria, they’ve always been weird down there, and South Australia…they are just a bunch of psycho murderers, and Western Australia…they are so far away it’s quicker to go to New Zealand, so I don’t really know if I can call them Australian at all, and finally same with the Northern Territory, who’d want to live with salt water crocs other than a bunch of weirdos). Note: Tasmania isn’t even attached to Australia, so I consider them more Antarctican
So given that NSW is the only sane State in Australia and it is totally off it’s rocker because of the beer virus, I’m just surprised we haven’t tried to drink this thing to death.
I’m in quarantine since friday 13. Bored out of my mind. On the good side, I did finish three books in four days.
What I do not understand is the ridiculous demand for toilet paper everywhere on the planet.
Do those life forms do not comprehend that a flu != the zombie apocalypse?
At least I’m doing okay. Stay healthy everyone and in case you have symptoms, get well soon!!
Well things could be worse, i mean imagen being some type of leader of a country that would disband it’s pandemic task force. How silly would that have been right?, and here in my part of sweden things are fine.
Sure there are grumbelings, schools will shut down. But atleast i can go to a store and not be trampled to death by a horde…
All sounds about right. Weirdo QLD’er here who lives in croc country.
Piiiix!
Man, that sucks. I feel like the german government is doing jack ■■■■ about this and started way too late. I hope you’ll get through this unharmed. Even though you’re german (: - )), we gotta stick together on this one.
Twists of fate have prevented me from heading to Bulgaria, where I would have been better off, but I’m doing fine now. Struggled with a Tinnitus and was on corticoids, which really was the worst time for that to happen, but I got caught off guard by the seriously dry air we’ve had in that time. Dry air is really bad, because it can make you catch ■■■■ much more easily.
I’m wondering if I can still head to my other home. I’d be far more isolated there, plus lots of fresher air even considering how clean it is right now in Vienna due to everything being locked down. All in all, doing good so far, but I want to do better.
Cryptos dropped heavily, which is kind of great, because now I can invest more for cheap.
Malicious. Not retarded. It’s malicious. How’s that not plain obvious … I don’t know. Such politicians hide behind those who claim that stupidity should not be mistaken for maliciousnes. Those guys are the ones who retarded.
Good! That’s definitely an upside and I hope more people will be doing so.
I doubt it’s everywhere, but there’s been plenty of movies/series in the past that I’ve came across, which might have planted that idea into the brains of all those idiots.
They comprehend nothing.
I’m really glad everyone in here is doing mostly okay.
funny.
Our company shrank down to half it’s cars and staff now. All drivers over 60yo got send home for short-time-work with (i believe) 65% of monthly pay. But i’m still driving, at least 12 hours per shift now, to generate enough income. The next months could be very interesting.
Travel agent hailing from Spain here. Confined at home since the 14th, but we worked half shift without opening to the public until the 20th -essentilaly undoing everyhting we had for March and April. We still hold hope for the travels in May, but with this terrible March we’ve been in negative cash flow for 6 months instead of the usual 3 to 4.
Will fight til the bitter end, but that time is getting really close really fast…
Let’s just say I work in healthcare and to be honest, it’s a little weird and scary out there in the UK at the moment. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned. I have a lot of responsibility on my shoulders and it’s weighing heavier than normal right now.
I went to buy some wine on the way home from a 24hr shift this afternoon and the shelves were stripped bare. Stock is fluctuating, things that weren’t there yesterday are back but now the alcohol is gone because the restauants and bars are all closed. I managed to grab a nice bottle of Chianti, luckily for me I’m a bit of a wine snob and my usual bottles aren’t the cheaper ones. When I came out of the store I sat in the car and I could hear the birds so loudly because of the lack of noise from cars. Surreal.
Over the past four years I’ve lost most of my elderly relatives who mercifully all died peacefully, but my dad recently had a full stomach and partial oesophagus removal due to cancer and isn’t doing so well. I’m scared shitless for him, and my mum. Knocking the door and leaving a sanitised gift for her on the doorstep today on Mother’s day was pretty sobering.
I’m devastated too about all the good, hard working people out there who have lost their jobs and businesses through no fault of their own. Amazingly I applied for a job outside the health sector a few weeks ago and if I’d taken it, I’d be in that position now.
I genuinely wish you all well with whatever trials you’re enduring. See you on the other side in what I think will be a very changed world, and hopefully one where people realise what’s actually important.
Thanks for your post, mate, and thank you for your hard work.
On the upside: We’re heading right into a golden age once this passed …
… but it’s going to hurt getting there.
