Pink-And-White Worm Saga
A RPPvP narrative where I weave a story across my adventures engaging in solo PVP with worms. The story is originally told though the Rumors and gossip thread. Because of this, readers should view the tale as rumors and hearsay surrounding some ace Gurista pilot getting into scraps.
June 22nd YC 126
The peculiar appearance of a worm painted in pink and white camo was reported in Republic, Imperial and Angel intel channels earlier in the day. Patrolling between the Metropolis and Bleak Lands, The stray Guristas operative piloting the oddly skinned ship, engaged indiscriminately against the sponsored Capsuleers of all three parties. Adorned holographically on the hull of the ship was the emblem of the pirate alliance A Band Apart and its primary corporation Stay Frosty.
July 7th YC 126
Capsuleers sponsored by the Angel Cartel operating in the Essin constellation, have been facing harassment in the form of a Commando Guri Ace flying a Worm coated in pink and white camo. Numerous frigates, destroyers and even cruisers have been reported destroyed by this lone pilot - Who in turn - Has suffered their own losses amidst their brazen behavior by being gunned down by retaliating Cartel pilots. While Capsuleers flying for the Empire and Republic have been attacked, this clear interference in Cartel operations suggests the pact between the Guristas and Angel Cartel isn’t as cooperative as people may be led to believe.

Deep within the belly of the Fulcrum in Zarzakh is a sleepy economy fueled off the destruction of Gurista and Angel Capsuleers in their respective insurgencies. Stocked primarily by a handful of opportunistic Capsuleers with questionable financial sense, who are willing to put up with the difficult logistics Zarzakh provides.
One of these Capsuleers, responsible for trafficking a lion’s share of the weapons, ships, modules and rigs currently supplied on the open market. Has made a curious move that has deviated from their typical market strategy. Aligned with the Guristas, this Capsuleer has taken full advantage of their direct supply of NET Resonators to mass produce Worm hulls.
Currently, fifty Worm hulls are listed on Zarzakh’s market for fifty million ISK a unit. Beating Jita’s going rate of sixty-six million ISk. While the trimmings are still at a ruthless markup, Zarzakh is the current supplier of the cheapest Worm hulls in all of New Eden. Creating a new price ceiling in Zarzakh, the price can only go lower with more competition. Benefiting the consumer.
July 15th YC 126
The pilot of the pink-and-white camo worms seen in the low security warzones has been identified by the Guristas assigned moniker of “Bunny Buns”. Having suffered the lost of 25+ Worm hulls in the span of half a month, Though an assortment of engagements that range from being boneheaded to outmatched. Like… Sliding into an ORE corporate outpost because there was a lone Auguour - NOT NAVY ISSUE - sitting inside on D-scan and not expecting there to be combat recons inside waiting for them.
Amongst other examples
Despite the losses, this pilot appears to have no shortage of replacement hulls to redeploy into the moment the last one is shot down. Pulling out of the Angel insurgency for the time, ‘Bunny Buns’ has been spotted in their proper A.O raiding Upwell assets alongside Guristas forces. Their worm, not fairing tell well in a few skirmishes with the local Caldari and Gallente militamen. WIth as much as some kills with extremely mundane fittings to show for their effort and some tall tales behind them about having used their speed to isolated them from larger gangs of ships
If a Gurista’s word is anything to trust.
July 30th YC 126
Having not been seen for a week now, the Pink-and-white camouflaged Worm piloted by ‘Bunny Buns’ has reappeared in the current Insurgency of the Angel Cartel. Once again, the Worm was reported to have been aggressively engaging Angel pilots carrying out raids on Upwell facilities across the Tiat constellation, and adjacent systems under attack by the criminal organization.
Racking up a total destruction of seventeen ships with a single Worm hull, before meeting their match against a lone Ishkur pilot flying for the Cartel. It appears ‘Bunny buns’ continued activities against the Angel Cartel are an intentional interference despite the pact made between them and the Guristas pirates. With reports of the pilot shooting down Matari fighters in their belligerent rampage, it appears unlikely that they’re doing this in benefit of any Empire.
Furthermore, Once considered an ‘Ace Pirate’ by the Commando Guri, ‘Bunny Buns’ is now regarded as a ‘Hijack Commander’ within the organization. Suggesting the pilot’s actions against the Cartel has led to some advancement.
August 2nd YC 126
The seemingly endless harassment Cartel pilots have faced from the cutely painted Worm continues. With ‘Bunny Buns’ racking up thirty kills (Pods Excluded) with a single Worm. As quick as the distinguishing mark symbolizing this feat was projected alongside the ship’s hull, it was destroyed. Spotting a lone slasher residing in a medium Matari complex. ‘Bunny Buns’ attempted to ambush it, only to find themselves in an ambush as a Angel Cartel Huginn awaited them on the inside.
Previous reports already show that this one lose will be swiftly replaced, but the pilot has showcased what they’re capable of by smashing their previous record of seventeen kills before being shot down. Wither or not this Gurista can do it again remains to be seen.
Various dockworkers across the Tiat constellation claim to have spotted the Pink-and-White worm visit their stations. Also claiming to see the ship offloading cargo containers. One dockworker aboard the Freedom Extension station in orbit of Aset II went missing after peering into one of these containers and finding various modules. It appears ‘Bunny Buns’ is taking the effort to pillage the wrecks of their victims and stockpiling the loot locally.
August 10th YC 126
This morning featured the massacre of twenty Angel-aligned Capsuleers by the hands of the increasingly infamous Pink-and-white Worm that has been plaguing Cartel insurgencies the past few weeks. Only finding it’s eventual demise by the hands of roaming Matari fighters who cornered the Gurista pilot outside the TLF Logistical station in Lulm.
Consistently making appearances in the current Insurgency, ‘Bunny Buns’ carved a violent path up and down the currently effected systems under attack by the Angel Cartel. Harassing the Insurgency in it’s infancy and ramping up as it spreads into more systems. Showing little mercy, the Gurista has displayed ruthless behavior in podding majority of his targets. Capsules that lingered on grid a second too long, were snagged and executed swiftly.
As Commando Guri operations start to face more pushback from more ‘Law-sympathetic’ Capsuleers, and find less progress in their own insurgencies. ‘Bunny Bun’'s activities can be interpenetrated as intentionally sabotaging the Malakim Zealots to try and keep them from out pacing their ‘business associates’. Wither or not this single pilot has much effect on that remains to be properly documented.
August 13th YC 126
Internal developments within the Guristas are unfolding as the pilot of the pink-and-white camo worm has made their appearance in 6NJ8-V. With help of their recently acquired rank of Hijack Commander and momentum gained from their actions against the Angel Cartel, ‘Bunny Buns’ made official the formation of a new subsidiary combat wing within the Commando Guri called ‘Raibuya’s Bunnies’.
Thus far, the news has been received with rather unanimous dismissal from Gurista personnel that have bothered to pay attention to this capsuleer’s actions. Negativity that stems primarily from the chosen name. A name which likely doesn’t mean much to outsiders - Has very specific context behind it for most Gurista. the action is being seen as distasteful and un-amusing. beggings questions like who the actual commanding officer for the unit is, or wither or not this is a thinly veiled power move from noteables that “Shouldn’t get involved”
As Hijack Commander, ‘Bunny Buns’ is appointing themselves as the CO of Raibuya’s Bunnies and claims that the name was merely chosen “In tribute” to someone special to them and that “Yaken’s bunnies” doesn’t have have the same kind of ring to it. The pink-and-white camo scheme also stands in as the unit’s offical colors, suggesting all of this was premeditated.
The unit currently stands at one combat pilot, with neither conventional, or Capsuleer Gurista signing on with the newborn unit as of now.
Time will tell if this will amount to anything.
October 12 YC 126
After what appears to have been a period of ‘Laying low’ after a long streak of violence, the pink-and-white worm has reappeared in the low-security spacelanes of Matari and Amarrian space. Thus far, the pilot ‘Bunny Buns’ has yet to cause much noteworthy damage outside of a few algos(es?) and single vexor piloted by cartel pilots. What is of note however is the evolution of Bunny Bun’s arsenal as they are reported to be fielding enthralled rogue drones.
Be it though the assistance of Triglavian technology or Guristas ‘ingenuity’, these twisted machines, combined with the worm’s drone systems make for a devastating dou. Ramping up the combat performance of the worm significantly at the cost of drones that are not so easily replaced. Cheekily, the drones feature crude graffiti such as “If lost, return to owner.” and then listing contact information.
Raibuya’s Bunnies, the recently formed cell within the Commando Guri, still remains at a one active personnel on it’s roster. Bunny Buns. This move to incorporate subservient rogue drones could be a play at distinguishing the unit and interesting possible recruits who’d want to wield the same technology for themselves.
Of course, they would have to conform to flying pink ships if they want to do that.
October 13th YC 126
Akin to an invasive species, Bunny Buns carved in a scar of destruction across the Metropolis warzone yesterday evening. Their new enthralled rogue drones undoubtedly being a contributing factor to their success in battle as they take on everything from sloppy fitted vessels, to properly maintained warships piloted by competent individuals.
Their biggest exploit of the day came in the form of a small-scale Empyrean Edict operation in the Lantorn system. Six Imperial pilots in stealth bombers were bashing the Matari Ihub in system uncontested until a naughty little bunny stumbled across them. Skirting around their formations, the pink-and-white worm probed them for an opening before warping off.
Two minutes passed before the local Lantorn fluid router was greeted by the message “■■■■ it.” by Bunny Buns. Soon followed by the reappearance of their cutesy colored worm who proceeded to throw themselves at the nearest bomber.
Bunny Buns succeeded at taking down not one , or two , but three of the six bombers on the grid. The surviving three bombers cloaked up to evade their mad assailant once they realized the predicament they were in. An Empyrean Edict Omen Navy issue soon landed on grid to provide security and chase off the bandit, who promptly fled the scene unscathed.
Once again, these attacks towards Imperial pilots don’t seem like favorability towards the Matari war effort. Rather the actions of a bloodthirsty pirate looking for violence and plunder.
The legend of the pink worm continues to grow in the Guristas.
October 21st YC 126
The rambunctious bunny that has been causing mischief in the Matari warzone has fallen to a drought of bad luck. From seeming like a formidable combatant the week before, Bunny Buns recent records leave much to be desired.
After securing thirty-one separate confirmed kills with a single hull, Bunny Buns are shot down in a crazed attempt of sliding in on a pack of five algoses thinking them to be Fraternity Angels
Shrugging off this failure, Bunny Buns made a pass at another pilot flying a worm in what appeared to have been a case of wanting a matchup in the same hardware. This Dirt n’ Glitter pilot however was flying a much different build than Bunny Buns, with a fitting to compliment a rocket setup, Bunny Buns was defeated in this worm duel and made to reship once again.
Finding their stripe again, Bunny Buns racked up a smaller streak of kills before having yet another worm turned into a pile of twisted scrap metal when they bit off more than they can chew attacking two fraternity pilots who were capable of fighting back. This, however is not the final lose to be reported.
As of today, Bunny Buns was once again shot down by Fraternity when the pilot made a foolish error in warping into a gate that was in the process of being bubbled by Fraternity Angels. Without any remorse, Bunny Buns was swiftly blown asunder by tornados on grid.
Despite the success, Its evident that Bunny Buns is no flawless ace and is prone to foolhardy decision making. Maybe that’s suitable for a Gurista
October 25th YC 126
After suffering a few too many bad ruts in the Matari/Amarr warzone, Bunny Buns appear to have returned to their ‘natural’ habitat.
Fighting alongside conventional Guristas forces raiding ORE assets, a worm in pink-and-white camo can occasionally be spotted in formation. Seemingly more focused on objectives than action, Bunny Buns has taken a more “passive” stance as they assist in the ongoing operations.
This isn’t to say Bunny Buns hasn’t gotten into any scraps… Finding better luck than their previous excursions harassing the Angel Cartel, Bunny Buns has managed to successfully shoot down State and Federal pilots numerous times during a raid. Ensuring Guristas forces had a smoother process in securing any and all loot in these ORE outposts.
Rumors persist of even a few stalemate between Bunny Buns and local militia pilots. Like pushing a sniper cormorant off their site with drones. Or just barely fending off a lone pilot of a Daredevil in a agreed upon duel in orbit of Hikkoken I. Without there being any logged kills or losses, these fights are hearsay and tales shared between drunk Gurista.
These performances in front of the rank-and-file serve as an exceptional means to promote Raibuya’s Bunnies as a competent enough combat unit. Some Gurista even citing that the Pink camo is a welcomed sight when it slides in to help. Despite this, Raibuya’s Bunnies still remains at one active personal. With most Gurista welcoming the support, but not wishing to sign on with the newborn unit.
As a sidenote. Talk of a router channel called “The Down Low” has begun being referenced as a platform Bunny Buns frequents. Along with other Capsuleers of suspicious backgrounds and activities. While the comms channels is open, there are some vague rules about no “Ops” being allowed.
