Best Alpha Mining Fit?

That’s what this thread is for… I did ask and you’re being snarky.

What does this mean?

Also, @Kaworu_Ageron - I’ll make you an offer, just because I’m a nice person and wish to know people are enjoying their game.

I will trade you (via contract) 2 (two) PLEX and a Retriever mining barge (T1 version of the Mackinaw) OR 1 (one) PLEX and a Mackinaw exhumer (T2 mining ship) for your Vindicator.

Message me ingame if interested.

I know you need like 500 plex now or something for an omega clone status, so I’ll definitely pass on that. Plus I already have an exhumer that I’m just waiting to be able to use again.

As you wish, then.

Quit faffing about and just buy a subscription already. EvE is entertainment worth the relatively small cost. Start with one month, then if you like it after about three weeks buy a 3-month sub.

If you have an exhumer already then get to it and start using it immediately!

Sadly as I have no income, I cannot buy a sub, so…

JUST use a Gnosis, comparably better than a venture with slightly more cargo space, slightly better yield, and much much better tanking ability and you can put out more drones than a venture can too!! let alone a larger drone bay.

Ah. Well then, I hope things get better for you IRL.

8x miner II - 2x compact multispectrum shield hardener - 5x elara mining laser upgrade - 2x procesor overc loaquing unit I - 1x cargohold optimization 1 mines up to 800m3 per min.Heavy tank.

I don’t recommend you to mine in anything other than a Venture if you’re alpha. Using a combat ship for mining is widely considered an abomination by gankers and hence more likely to make you a target which would cause you a significantly greater loss than a Venture would…

Overclock rigs is what you are thinking of. Command Proc allow for additional Burst modules to be active at once.

Instead;

Gas Harv I x 2
Probe Launcher and Scan probes vanilla

MSE
Invul
1nm

DCU

Ninja into a high class WH, grab some gas and get out. The right gas type and one type trip will net more than 20x the same orehold filled with any ore.

Citation needed.

As a ganker it dont bother me, but I can see it bothering elite miners.

LOL. Have you ever heard of a blog called www.minerbumping.com ? Why do you think kills like those did usually make it to the Kills of the Week? Because of the bling? Do you see anything worth mentioning in the Rokh kill in the following post worth mentioning other than the fact that it was a Rokh?

So what that as a freighter ganker it doesn’t bother you? I was obviously talking about miner gankers…

You know there is also an in game chat channel called minerbumping, right? I mean, you could just join it and ask the agents there what they think of using those ships for mining, you know…

LOL. What?

I am an agent, many of my friends are agents. I have more alts than days of the year.

You must be knew here. Good day Sir.

Not sure what you mean. How does the fact that you’re an agent that happens to not care about those mining fits change the fact that they’ve always been considered an abomination by most miner gankers, often included in minerbumping’s Kills of the Week for that sole reason, and that anyone interested may verify this is the case by checking the blog or by asking in the minerbumping channel what do the agents there think about them?

Can anybody tell me what does the medium command processor actually do? And why is it added in the gnosis fit when it’s not using any foreman burst rig? Does it multiply my friend’s burst mining buff from his orca?

Someone else already commented that the Gnosis fit shouldn’t have the medium command processors. You’re right, it does nothing when the ship isn’t using any command bursts! The command processor allows for an extra equipped command burst module.
