Ritter fitted with overdrives.
Thats suprising, I figured it would be some random faction ship with fastest base warp speed and base velocity, with the right mix of low slots and rigs
Well we like Ritters but there are quicker hulls to use like the Atron.
Risk vs Reward
Fancy ships like that tend to be expensive and juicy gank targets, not exactly ideal for this.
You want high base speed, sub 2 second align time, enough mid slots to fit some extenders and cheap as chips.

Use a goddamn shuttle. Best bang for the buck you can get for autopiloting.
I’d imagine that the T1 interceptor hulls would be the fastest. Slasher, Atron, Executioner, Condor. Shuttles are also even cheaper, but slightly slower means to that end.
Yeah, if this website: https://jsfiddle.net/debugLogEnabled/co5f486u/792/ is correct, a shuttle would need like 5minutes more for a 56jump autopilot route than this optimized T1 frig. Difference will be a lot less on the more common shorter routes.
I’d take the 15k ISK shuttle any time over a 7M frig. I mean, I am not sitting next to the PC with a stopwatch trying to break a record for autopiloting. I will probably not even at the keyboard or watching some youtube video or making myself something to eat. Unless I have such a travelfrig ready to board, I wouldn’t do the effort buying and fitting one, if a shuttle is availabe with a 1-click purchase. But thats just me.
a Leopard does 20AU out of the box (not recommended to use for AFK !!)
a Pacifier with Hyperspatials goes easy up to 12 AU
on the cheaper end a Helios with 8.5AU
or just a Amarr Shuttle with 5AU
The Fukuzawa stated “quickly autopiloting” which is about as AFK as you get. So I agree with the shuttles since they also state “cargo isn’t relevant”. But my sound advice to them, never depend on the autopilot system. They should rename it, the auto suicide system.
I hate to go break down math for you Fuku, but 5 AU per second in a shuttle across even 100 AU between gates is going to add about 20 to 30 seconds on your trip using the autopilot. The AP stops 11 km short of the gate and crawls to it. AP is not a time saver.
Have fun!
The concept of auto piloting is alien to me, but, yeah use a shuttle if you have to. I did a 48 jumps to Jita 4/4 the other day all manual because it’s not paranoia if they really ARE out to get you. Get good at the cloak/MWD trick, too. It may save your ship one day. o7
thanks for the help everyone, been away from the game for a while and just wanted to get a feel for the risk versus reward on auto pilot setups.
Going to stick with shuttles
If you want personal fast travel, jump clones are good but cost ISK. I normally set up my departure point as my home station. Fly to my destination, sell my cargo and the hauler as well. Then I self destruct in dock to instantly return to my point of origin. I buy another hauler and repeat.
Have fun!
Yes, a Leopard is a guaranteed death sentence.
I always recommend the use of a pod for afk travel, gets you to a destination faster than any other type of ship.
and more often then not that’s the starting point.
I did say A destination, i didn’t necessarily mean the one they wanted to go to
Hecate works great, too.
