So I have an idea, what if we had a version of abyssal deadspace where T3 cruisers, battlecruisers, battleships could enter. It could be single pocket with 20-60 min timer and you could leave at any time but the longer you stay the more loot you can gather. Also the loot in these abysses would drop from the enemies so no need to move in slow battleship and mobile tractor unit would be recommended.
Sounds like ez money. Needs more risk. Maybe if NPC tackle and NPC capitals had chances to spawn. Or exit gate doesn’t spawn until 60s remaining on timer.

I mean, they wouldn’t be allowed in highsec. So they’d only be run in null, because I very much doubt anyone in low would run them.
I’m not sure the null blocks need another big source of income. They already have crab beacons… could maybe do an abysaal themed crab beacon that are balanced for the OP’s suggested ship line.
Yes to Abyssals for battleships, battlecruisers and T3 cruisers - no to any notion of excluding high-sec.

This suggestion asks for more rewards for less risk.

If you want abyssals for bigger ships, I’m not against abyssals for bigger ships, but you are also asking for some less reasonable things like increasing the time you can hide in your instance
or remove all risk from the abyssal system:
because doing so just makes your idea bad.
Abyssals are supposed to be challenging PvE that people cannot simply throw more ships at to solve the challenge. Without a lethal timer within you need to kill a certain amount of ships there is no challenge, because there are no consequences if you fail.
No challenge, and no risk, just safe farming in your private instance. And if that instance lasts for up to an hour this means people will be able to farm loot safely disconnected from the rest of the game much longer.
At least with the existing abyssals you know that within 20 minutes someone has to come out and appear at the trace (if they are still alive). Waiting for 20 minutes before you can engage someone is long, but doable. Asking people to wait 60 minutes for a potential fight just wastes everyone’s time.
Having your own near endless private instance to safely farm loot in is a bad idea.
