When I board a ship I would like to see that, like the trailer human animation then capsule then the ship, is it even possible (in the future) ?

I have a half dozen or so really cringeworthy episodes of TNG on my list (excluding seasons 1-2, which are a complete write-off). This extends to seasons 1-2 of Picard and the entirety of Discovery and the mushroom drive…
TOS, (most of) TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise are all high in my book.

Lol no. I wanna board my ship in 1 second max. If I have to wait and look at this stuff every time I board a ship it’s gonna get really old really quick.
Even if this feature is ever implemented, it will be like this: it will be an optional feature → most players will disable it and not use it → CCP will see it’s underused and then remove it.
Of course, there’s the “and I arrive at a station and disembark.”
The capsule is lifted from the ship and moved to the arrivals area, the support fluids are drained, the glutinous mess, contaminated by various bodily fluids is sent for re-cycling and re-use. Finally, the capsule is opened, and the cybernetic connections disengaged from the naked capsuleer, lying there gasping for breath in the remaining mess.
Consciousness slowly returns to them. Still in a state of disorientation at having gone from being the living soul of a spaceship to discombobulated ape descendent ,they crawl from the capsule, and like some uncertain gastropod leaving a sticky trail behind them, the weakly make their way to the showers. There they discover exactly how all invasive the support fluid is and how unpleasant it is to remove it…
I’m not sure we should show the reality - it may put people off.

You can do that in No Man Sky.
It would look fun once, get boring the second time and be plain annoying every time after.
It’s like those ‘boarding your new ship’ animations which were fun. Once.
Do yourself a favour and look at that youtube trailer each time you board a ship, until it gets boring.

~_~ The session change timer when switching ships is one of the most frustrating things, especially if you are about to go into a combat situaiton ASAP to help your fleet and the damn ships won’t switch and you know if you switch them, you will have another session timer before you can undock. AAaahrrrg.

Yes and you can’t mash the Undock button because the second click aborts it
It’s not a bad idea if you can turn it off but you’re asking an awful lot outta a 20 yr old game with bigger problems.
