Yeah, I guess, I really am not informed about the whole situation and what agreements are between everyone. I am pretty new to Test and this was something that developed just before I got here and have not heard much about it.
What is the Imperium take on all of it?
Was it initially a Init deployment for some reason I am unaware of, then leaderships grr and saber rattling escalated it for Goons to get involved?
It appears quiet uninspiring and it appears few known what or why about it. Fire looks to be rental empire extended into what, 9 regions? I really do not know what it is all about, sounds like people just want to shoot each other for the sake of shooting each other.
It was initially an INIT deployment, and then bored Goons deployed the Goonswarm Expeditionary Force. Part of it is payback for the 14-month âwar of exterminationâ PAPI attempted, and part of it is because rental empires are just another form of chattel slavery, and need to be destroyed.
Few things bring me more joy than the âswordâ of Ushraâkhan being steadily beaten blunt into a shield for its paltry asets and remaining pride.
I wish you the best of luck in your defense, and all the worst when you try to bring suffering to Amarr again, which is becoming less and less frequent.
I mean, thatâs a legitimate single-paragraph. Couldâve used breaking that first sentence up into, I dunno, three or four⌠or five. Once youâve got that, yeah, thereâs natural points to use paragraph separation. And that would serve to clarify and emphasize the actual points being made. In the process, itâd give the rant a bit more oomph and impact, too.
Still, as long as that massive abomination of a single opening sentence stands as-is? Yeah, thatâs all one bit complete thought. It just, yâknow, happens to be the kind of complete thought that usually dribbles out on the edge of a sippy-cup.
We are not even close to having enough capital to rebuild a station like this. The previous refinery was crowdfunded and I doubt I could find any new investors for such a giant project especially given the previous failure.
Gaining the trust of people to work there is another problem. Who wants to live on a station that is in high risk of being attacked in the future?
Loosing the only refinery is a blow for every systemâs economy I think.
Our production line depended on that Refinery. Due to that and the pirates roaming around the area for a month we were pretty close to going insolvent and out of business. Iâm glad itâs over for now and those issues have been resolved for the moment.
My advice would be to try setting up production facilities on the planets themselves. The start-up costs are lower and Capsuleers can not really touch them.
Iâm sorry to read about the demise of your refinery @Komi_Valentine, I wish you well in rebuilding, please update us where possible, obviously given the circumstances though maintaining as much operational security as you can is paramount.
Beyond this news the response from both my fellow brother and sister Matari and the ever sanctimonious Amarr leaves much to be desired, quicker to judge or inflame than offer condolences.
