It seems really weird to me that cytoserocin is so annoying to harvest (you have to clear rats and/or tank cloud explosions in nullsec, but lowsec has rat-free sites that don’t damage you) but at the same time is worth significantly less than mykoserocin. The only flavor of cyto worth more than its corresponding myko is Malachite, and most myko is above most other cytos as well.
You might be wondering why adding booster BPCs into pirate LP stores would affect cytoserocin harvesting at all. Cytoserocin is almost exclusively used in standard, improved, and strong boosters. Building a titan takes around 30m ISK worth of cytoserocin, so caps are not a major use of it. The thing about boosters is that especially at higher tiers, most of the value of the booster comes from the BPC, which is only found in region-locked nullsec combat hacking sites. Adding additional sources of BPCs will not only reduce the price but also make the supply more consistent. This will also likely cause an overall reduction in booster prices which might make the stronger boosters more used in fleet combat. This will increase demand, and cytoserocin will become more valuable since it’s now a larger piece of the pie of the booster value.
