Build Bigger gates, allow CAPITAL to fly more freely?

Most L4 missions have gate restrictions, so unless FC is willing to open Pandora’s Box to revise these… Not to mention that dreads and carriers move at a glacial pace…

No they aren’t.

No they aren’t.

Carriers can enter all of lowsec, nullsec, and certain wormhole connections, as well as be built in wormhole systems that wouldn’t normally support a capital passing through. What do you think “normal” is?

Gates already support any size of ship.

You can already use them in FW.

Is this a joke? I think your LLM is hallucinating again.

Capital warships in high-sec are bad for a wide variety of reasons (most of which have been listed here).

I just don’t see a use case for allowing caps into high sec other than novelty. If someone really wants to see them in action just show up in Snuffed Out low sec territory with a couple of ships and wait a few minutes.

Looks like someone is afraid to fly in the highsec and is looking for ability to get more EHP on autopilot.

Otherwise I don’t see the reason.

This vids comment section says a lot I didn’t even touched…

I should clear out the last part of my initial post as it seems that much (if not all) which has
evolved in the comment section, comes from the hypothesis of seeing Capitals or Sub-Capitals
freely roaming ALSO in HS.

Truth is FNR is nerfing the hell out of existing free gate system so at this point why don’t let them roma more freely, so to speak, except 0.9> sys, basically everywhere.

I play tall, not wide, so i can only think of more stringent blocks around usual routes with such a change that would partly
counterbalance the new system… or is it the other way around???
I’ not an expert on the matter clearly.

Who’s FNR?

FNR=Fenris Creation. FC= Fleet Commander.
I advice using FNR and not FC for juxtaposition of terms.
I do it on my posts.

It’s FC or CCP (there’s really no point in making it more confusing)…

FC it’s making me not understand what the subject is, it is confusing.

Sorry, but I fail to see the link between nerfing Ansiblex gates and allowing capital warships in high-sec. I couldn’t find anything in the actual video or comments alluding to this, either.

And using made-up acronyms doesn’t make it any less confusing for anyone reading…

Bah, more bothersome blather from a clueless OP. If the idea is “allow caps in HS” then just SAY so instead of cloaking your unpopular idea in a tidal wave of drivel.

looks like part of the motivation is simply being able to move motherships and titans from point A to point B without having to deal with Lowsec or the risks that come with it, especially for less experienced pilots. It would also allow people to store their capitals safely in Highsec with much lower risk of losing them.

Personally, I don’t see many other reasons to allow capital ships in Highsec. That said, if they ever were introduced there, I wouldn’t object if they had a 15 minutes suspect&combat flag after each jump/undock. At least that would preserve some level of risk instead of making them completely safe (it will be a payment for avoiding LS and hiding in HS).
