Burtus antonioprimus for CSM 20

First, let me say hello, you all can call me Burt. those of you that know me know me as many things, but first and foremost let me say life has a way of changing even after the short 16 years I have been in new Eden. I have had countless adventures in this game; we all love and at time hate. So, I will Start with this. 0i 07 70 manamana are the ways I have to say hello to my fellow gamers/pilots over the last 16 years of important internet spaceships. This is just my first post (and I really don’t know what else to say. But more to follow.

I cannot in good conscience support any group like Absolute Order putting forward a candidate. According to the last person they tried to put up to this, the entire intention was to abuse the CSM influence for their own gains.

Additionally there was an entire campaign that included most all major factions and dozens of smaller ones coming together to get them off the map in Providence because of their toxic “culture”. They are a blight on our community and shouldn’t be taken seriously, even if this campaign gets off the ground beyond a “Hi-ho, I guess I’ll try” post with no content to it and no goals/intentions stated.

Hey as I am writing this it is my second day of trying to quit smoking so I ask for a little bit of understanding from you all.

My eve story well I can start with my first day in eve it was 2008 04 09. With no tutorial and no idea what this game was about I logged on. lucky for me I had friends in real life who played before me.

That is one of my main points for my campaign we need to uplift the newbro experience so that they don’t spend 4 hours trying to figure out how to inject books and leave.

At the time of my introduction into New Eden, I was an airman in the United States Air Force. Long story short I am now a 100% disabled combat veteran. as I have been playing this game for so long I have done it all and still I want more. Got to go for now oh and JB we used propaganda in the military too I don’t believe half of what I read and 90% of what someone else shows me.

I respect your wanting to quit smoking, that takes a lot of willpower and effort. I won’t go into how accurate the propaganda is, because I feel like that entire battle has already been won with AO being effectively removed from the map.

What I will question is, why would people look to an AO member about the newbro experience? When people banded together to attack their space it was at least in part because of their abuse of newbros. Nobody agrees with how AO handles new people, and as we all more or less still have our spies planted in their ranks, we know the newbro experience hasn’t improved.

Can you go into more detail about what you want to do to improve the newbro experience? Can you tell us more about what you want to try and push to CCP for the future? I know that AO focuses on Highsec now (mostly HS war mechanics), do you have any plan or idea for that?

Thank you for your post. As for the newbro experience I am not a newbro as you have probably already zkillboarded me and eve who me to boot. But the I personally like to help new players ever week there is a training fleet in AO and I know that in other corp/alliances they do the same.

I was hoping for more of a defined campaign plan for your CSM run. Could you give us a breakdown of your goals if you were elected for CSM? I apologize if I wasn’t clear with my question earlier.

My goals for my campaign are simple.

1 make mining more interesting

2 have fun learning something new in eve

3 showing logistic pilots’ matter (logi is love)

4 not to be bullied

All the handholding in the world is not going to get a coherent plan out of this guy, it would seem. From his responses alone, he seems woefully inadequate to comment on the state of the game, let alone represent players in a dialog directly with developers to relay complex concerns.

To OP:

Sorry bud, but even ignoring the dubious nature of your affiliated alliance, this seems like a role that is beyond your skill set.

well considering 16 years of gameplay and countless hours of online testing on the sisi server your opinion is your own but I beg to differ. I was there for the decussion of skill implants the nerf of AOE titans and the nerf of capital ship jumping every where. oh thats right gate camping in ahbazon Xeron Vann | Character | zKillboard

Being there when something happens does not make you knowledgeable on the subject, and you have demonstrated a glaring lack of not only any kind of coherent platform but also a failure to communicate in a constructive manner. I would argue these are both very important aspects of someone running for CSM, but you go ahead and [fail to] insult me based on your assumptions of me.

I’ve been around since 2006 and involved myself in every part of the game, from HS to Nullsec to wormholes (a little, not a lot, I admit. lol), that doesn’t mean I’m qualified to be a CSM member. Part of the job is quality communication, a clear platform, and logical and acceptable goals in mind that will see the game to a better place in the future.

Ignoring the fact that for the last couple years, you’ve been in and out of Absolute Order’s assorted wardec dodging corps, and ignoring the fact that Absolute Order mass recruits and effectively tax scams newbros without giving them any lick of good advice. You have not, at all, in any of my gentle, but perhaps loaded, questions and prompts to try and get you to elaborate… given a clear example of this.

I’m sorry, but I’m with my pirate fellow over there. You do not have a strong platform to support. I wouldn’t recommend you to my friends at this point. You need to have a clear reason why the population of EVE should vote for you over say… the number of nullbloc reps running who help manage thousands of people effectively, the assorted Industrialists who have created tools to support everyone in the game, the small gang PvP representatives that intend to help new people get involved. If your goal is to focus on newbros, you’re up against someone like Dujek Oneye, who is a well respected and well known member of the community. You have to set yourself apart beyond “I’m a old vet in EVE” because that matters way less than a good reputation and rapport, and you’re already on the back foot for being in one of the most unlikeable alliances in the game. And that’s coming from a Goon, lol.

sorry you see it that way but as I remember goons started with a bunch of frigate flying newbros with a dream oh yes I remember the station camps in BOB’s systems in stealth bombers.

Good day everyone, third day of quitting smoking. Today I will discuss the many corporations that I have been a part of over the years. I started play eve online with a group of friends in a 5-man Corp with the dream of going to null sec one day. We did and I had some amazing times fought in some grand battles ( I still have dreams about more bubbles). but thru it all the friends started to fall away IRL has a way of doing that. And IRL comes frist hard lesson to learn for a gamer.

have you only been a member of one corp or do you not plan out what you are going to say in advance and will post again later?

Maersk Incendia Tempestas 2008.07.29 19:39 to 2009.10.28 15:17 (455 Days) was the name of my first corp the same people went to Cryo Innovations (Closed) 2009.12.27 19:07 to 2011.07.02 18:29 (551 Days) then One Night Stand (Closed) 2011.07.02 18:29 to 2012.07.03 23:54 (367 Days) then on to Digital Sedition 2012.08.17 22:35 to 2013.06.25 10:16 (311 Days) but those are just names to some of you to other they bring back memories of battle buddies who would drop everything they were doing to help/defend/attack.

And then the dark days came I was medical retired for the military due to a TBI. I had no direction no gate to warp to. I was about to biomass it all and quit. Then my daughter was born and my world changed I came back and decided to joined Fredegar Hohenstaufen Corporation 2015.07.29 19:47 to 2015.12.10 03:38 (133 Days) had lots of fun coming back playing with new people.

Hello burtus antonioprimus, first of all good luck with your campaign :flexed_biceps: …and may the best will win ofc :sports_medal:
(I will great every candidate this way  )

Hope you find time to share your thoughts on below topics and game ideas.

1. EVE Vanguard
Have you had an occasion to try it during Operation Nemesis or earlier? What was your impression if any?

What do you think about bidirectional connection planned with EVE Online? Do you see it has a potential to attract more players towards New Eden? And do you think Capsuleers will benefit from it?

2. Information & ISK itemization
How about being able to take a notes from your notepad and put it as an item into container or ship cargo? Same with an amount of ISK? Just like you can do with PLEX.

More details https://forums.eveonline.com/t/information-itemization-put-notes-into-cargo-containers

Would you pitch CCP to consider implementing it?

3. Production Plans
Basically the idea behind this is to bundle all the BPOs (BPCs), required to produce some final product, say, an assembled Drake fully fitted according to some saved fit ready for duty, into a single BPO-like item, and internally arranged into an intricate production workflow. Complete with logistics tasks, if necessary, using delivery corp projects. It could use BPMN diagram editor to arrange.

When installed into industrial job slot it will churn out those Drakes, provided there are required materials in linked containers or pause until they are become available again.

More details https://forums.eveonline.com/t/feature-request-production-plans

Would you pitch CCP to consider implementing it? Or at least expand ESI to allow 3rd party developers to do it?
