No you can totally play solo. You just have to accept that first this is a social game so things are much easier done with others. Solo would be intentionally doing things the hard way. As long as you accept that and don’t come here whining like a baby, you’re good. I do lots of things solo and I def don’t cry when I get outplayed or outdone by a group.
If you are one of the players consistently in the top five replies for any given thread, you probably are that guy.
Mr Epeen
Key word: probably
@ISD_Dorrim_Barstorlode Can you please tell people not to post my private images on the forums? The doxxing is getting completely out of control. Thanks.
thats why i orbit the BS concord ships(do misses hit target near you?), jk*hides in dock
That’s actually a graphical representation of New Eden collision boxes, inside that enormous soft squishy there are hundreds of thousands of trapped ships. Perhaps millions.
They are lost, never to be heard from again, like how we can bounce off a moon or fail to fall into the sun… Only worse, far far worse.
Their screaming shall haunt us all, though it can not be heard, this is space after all.
On the bright side that enormous squishy was last reported to be sucking up Amarr on its way to Jita for a light snack.
It is pretty crazy that a fleet got you in a 0.9 sec space… you really are never safe in Eve!
It’s too bad you’re leaving. Hope you give the game another chance someday. It’s the only one I’ve found that’s truly a high risk/ high reward.
Ok… This is the first time I’ve tried to do multiple quotes at once, I’m on a tablet and can’t actually see what I’m typing at the moment… So…
Here goes:
It’s was a highsec corporation, but I don’t know what they were up to beyond what I saw in the short time I was with them. To be fair there were some very good people, ones who I still talk to now and then. Some of them were good teachers who did well considering Eve is basically my first video game for the most part. The bad ones were actually real life bad people, and I figured them out near the end so it didn’t feel to bad leaving, though I do sorry about the good ones and wonder why they have such company.
As it stands now I’m in a corporation of one and I like it a lot, there’s no overhead other than my own mistakes and there are plenty of those.
I actually have had trouble with getting into the test servers, some times it works, other times it doesn’t and I haven’t a clue why. I’m not sure what I would have learned about the Loki there, when I have gotten on I found it very different.
That’s actually very astute, I am one, I should have been holding up my pinky, and that was exactly what I was getting at while trying not to say it directly. I also have to admit that at the time I had this misconception that the more outrageous the ship the better I might do at things like PvP, so I’m as guilty of over compensating as anyone on that count. The Loki made me realize that it’s not so much the ship or even the raw skill points, it’s experience. Something I still lack but I’m getting there.
Also when I read your comment about this making you laugh it got me laughing just because of its accuracy, but also because I had forgotten about putting in those terms. I’m a bit of an airhead at times and go zooming off on tangents.
I usually make friends with the people who get me, to me it’s just like you said, I’ve been out played and out done and I actually like it. Surprise Trig gate camps insta killing me made me use some choice words, but I got over that after a bit and just had to laugh.
How did you learn so fast?
Same here for now. You should actually do well with that attitude.
Finding a corp you can fit in/trust is the hard part. I lost almost all of them by 2014. The 2 that were left wanted to be the 2 richest when the lights went out. That’s not for me.
After that, a 10 bil burn taught me another good lesson on who not to trust, but meh, I did survive. All part of the game.
I see playing solo as a real challenge for this game. Would I rather be in a good corp again, big yes. But for now while CCP dangle’s us around like monkeys on strings, it’s just not worth the time anymore for me.
And to continue to spew! (Where’s my soapbox emoji?) How big of a small corp is to big? At some point, the corp can grow to the point someone will want to rob it from the inside?
i dont like to have a boss
bla bla bla , bla bla bla , you have to do this , you have to do that…
■■■■ off
i find the 24th crusade nice because i can mind my own business , help amarr and sometimes talk ■■■■ of the chat , best of two worlds
and the boys and girls there are nice people , they don’t do drugs or think about sex all the time and don’t have that ugly ■■■■ tatoos all over their faces
After they gave BR cargo hiding no place was safe for them.
I flying tired lingered in jita undock area too many seconds too long once. I gave nados the seconds needed to be dropped. And drop me they did…
If they could haves scanned the br…they’d see it was crap I was carrying. Crap items i brought to make a few isk on a planned pickup.
SO now if I feel that tired…even jita can wait till next day lol.
Can’t remember which mission years ago I used a “smart bomb” but it apparently hit an asteroid or something, but got blown up for it, lame.
yeah…rocks will trigger it. Thats jsut an npc response. Since the war on rocks and scarcity I was surprised to see it was in the game when I almost fired on one coming back. Assuming safeties on it will warn you on a direct gun shot.
Back in the day maybe this was an anti grief measure to not have people blowing up rockss for lolz to make miners cry. Theses days an NPC fleet goes out and does the same thing lol. And the rocks suck. Shooting them would be like putting them out of their misery really
That poor rock going man I used to be something more. I was huge, HUGE I tell ya! Now…a damn mining frigate wipes me in 1 pass.
This can be used to bait. Why SB’s not a good idea in hi sec.
