That’s a feasible blast radius for a mechanic aimed at destroying or harming botters. Being at the top end of the range that a barge or exhumer can mine at.

Damaging their drones and feedback damage through their strip miners is an inconvenience, it does them little or no harm.
We asked you how it would work, you flatly refuse to answer the question; ergo you forced us to make assumptions based on our knowledge of current mechanics and the game in general; knowledge that you apparently don’t possess.

How do you define irresponsibly? How is the damage directed? Feedback through mining lasers? Explosion? Radiation? The Tooth Fairy?

You mean that event, so be clear, as there are events in this game of other meaning.
If they are mined then they vanish, backfire would only destroy a small amount of ore/ice inside chunk. Ocasionally the backfire could pop asteroid when ore/ice would be less than backfire damage.
You already explode for that, if you’re a dumb herbivore.

I wrote to you dumbos already how it would work.
So the Backfire (as you call it) damage amount is applied equally(?) to all devices with active beams on the rock or ice, as well as the rock or ice chunk itself. Have I read this correctly? Please feel free to clear up anything here that you feel I may have failed to grasp, my brain is only small.
