So I have a fleet of 12 procurers and an Orca, all with mining drones.
When Backfire occurs, is it the last ship that activated its mining suffers the burn?
From what I have seen this has got even worse since the black out in null. just wondering if any you think it has or not?
Ill be completely honest, Ive been at several Ice sites in High today to test out thoughts about Ice Mining, and I havent seen one yet that I could convincingly say “that guys a bot”

So when you say that (above) do you mean rocks and chunks that already have people mining them at that moment, or ones that someone had a go at, then moved on?
Bots are smart today, you can see they are randomized in behavior now. Its hard to spot good bot.
It only makes it harder to program bots. And they would earn less. Thing is it would be spread resource and spread income.
I encounter a few multi-boxers, which is fair game if they’re doing it legit; if they have an Orca or a Porpoise with them I’m generally cheeky and ask for a boost.

How does it make it harder? It’s not a game changer to them, it’s an inconvenience.
Given the isk that they make a few drones and mining laser replacements are far less of a cost than getting caught by other players, or CCP.
Mined at that moment. Who cares about it if you move on, counter goes back and is visible.
You forgot about the latter part about income. If they would earn as much as normal ice explorer searching systems, they would see it as not worth the hassle, maybe if they would get hundreds of them… And every inconvenience is making it more harded for them sam as with mechanics that need you to focus on the action.
So is this suggestion only to stop Undermining then?
Let me just get this straight.
You warp into an ice field with your 12 Procs and Orca, but someone has warped 12 Ventures in and have set their beams on to tag every rock in the belt before you.
Are you now prevented from mining the ore without losing your modules on at least one ship?

Thinly disguised I don’t want to compete with other people for what I mistakenly think is mine.
From what I have seen, you think global warming, the stock market, airport security lines, and the opioid epidemic have gotten worse since the black out in null.

And the benefit of this mechanic is… you cant share rocks?
Does this happen if I have two procs mining the same rock in the same corp in the same fleet?

I already wrote what it woudl change, no mindless rock mining, more risk and spread income. If you feel its not more fun, then its not for you.
You all can go suck on that asteroid now. To see what kind of fun it is.
