Hi Peeps,
So I’m out exploring, decloaked by nothing, and my ship refuses to warp to the sun because it can’t lock onto the sun!!! WTF is that crap? Here’s the log.

Man, that’s a lot of notifications. Could have just posted the message pertaining to not being able to warp to the sun.

However it looks like you were engaged in combat. Maybe you were warp scrammed?

I clearly was declocked by nothing and then prevented from warping to the sun.

I just warped to a sun so it’s still possible.

If you were at the sun and then tried to warp to the sun again you would get that message.

Or you may have been in a bubble, but I think that gives a different message

You provided a wall of notifications with practically nothing filtered out, I doubt many people would be willing to take the effort of reading all of that. I simply searched for a “scram” notification as that’s the simplest explanation.

With that attitude, I doubt many people would be willing to help you, perhaps you should have that disability looked at.

You were in warp while you were spamming warp several times a second.

The “unable to warp” message comes, I think, if you are trying to warp to some object on grid that you cannot warp to. Either because it is within 150km, or because it isn’t a warpable object (certain LCO’s, drones and ships.) So several scenarios come to mind:

  • You warped to the sun, and then tried to warp to the sun again. Then you got killed at the sun.
  • You were spamming warp while still in warp, and got locked a few seconds later after you’d landed.
  • You misclicked, and were trying to warp to something that was not the sun.

That’s the issue that prevented you from warping or activating your MWD. Spamming the warp button dozens of times or even banging on the keyboard wont help. I’ve been told that throwing your computer into a pool of water will fix it permanently. Perhaps you should try that?

None of us understand why you do anything other than warp 2 seconds after gaining control of your ship in system.

IMO you

  • set your ship into motion to decloak yourself,
  • reloaded your probe launcher
  • recloaked yourself
  • failed to cancel your motion, which lead to you decloaking yourself on an object.

There is also an object on every gate grid that is capable of tangling up a warp so you can’t align. IMO your logs, timings and everything are all consistent with you submarining into the gate.
