What is the current mechanic or design if you died in a Tengu? Do you still lose one random level in your subsystems skills?

You don’t loose skillpoints anymore:

Patch Notes: “Tech III Cruiser ship destruction will no longer cause a skill level loss in a random subsystem skill.”
