I am trying to complete a mission with the thing it needed holding in my cargo hold, and docks in the military school where the agent is.
Do I have to repackage it or buy one from the market?
Or it just a bug

There’s 2 different types of Hacking sites, Data and Relic. Make sure the Proof Of Discovery you have in station is for a Data site.
If not then you’ll have to probe and complete a Data training site.
