Cant login at website, error 500

same issue i cannot upgrade my account to omega and im losing SP training time, i hope i get compensated

nope my original accounts from 2005 and 2006 will not allow me to go into the website trying to resub, my omega was expiring on one account and i was hoping they fix it by now but CCP did not and now has ran out and now in alpha status and im missing sp training time

How did you get this working via PayPal, I cant even get the Omega page to load to pick my sub tier (monthly, 6, 12 etc) let alone choose PayPal as the payment type. Soon as I click 'Add Omega Time" from Account Management it bombs out to the Error 500 splash page.

My server is based in London and I’m getting the same error 500 message. Can’t give my money away hahaha.

Same. All my accounts are NOT steam accounts and I’m trying to resub after a few year hiatus. 500 error when trying to add omega time…

Ok fixed it - there is some bad configuration on their webservers and cloudflare

After you click the “Am I human” captcha, go to your web address bar and type https:// in front of the existing url, do not change the url

You can then buy your omega

Works if you login on your phone browser, only way I was able to get it to work.

I don’t understand. Its not a workaround, its the solution. The links are taking you to the http site and not the secure https. If you simply change to https:// to the front of the URL it works as they suggested you do. This was the solution for me.

I do not use steam for eveonline and I had the same issue. Simply change http to https:// on the url it takes you to and you should be good to go.

You literally just need to put this in your browser directly and then it works. The links in game and the eve launcher for some reason take you to http://secure.eveonline.com/ which is the problem. It is a super easy solution.

Came back after years, installed Eve, pondered subscribing. Issue still going strong.

Does CCP still employ that economist? Maybe he’ll see a cliff in subscription sales by now, and someone will finally take a look at this. Kinda embarrassing really. Alas, that classic CCP feeling coming right back.

edit: seems the issue disappears once you manually go to https://secure.eveonline.com once. Maybe that’s why nobody from CCP seems to be reacting.

Thanks, this also worked for me as well.

But, changing the link that the game opens to https will redirect it back to http. So if anybody else has this problem, just type it in manually.

Yea this still is not fixed and tried all of the things nothing works. Guess im just gotta get into high sec alpha ganking haulers then.

I had issues with this too, but the workaround seems to be reliable:

When clicking on the ‘upgrade’ button from account management, it links you into the cloudflare verify window, at http://secure.eveonline.com/etc . Before clicking the verify checkbox, manually change that to https://secure… you might need to change a setting in your browser to ‘show full URLs’.

Adding the s in https and pressing enter just send me back to the previous page. Adding the s and not pressing enter but checking the verify button just takes me an http version of the next page. In the next page adding the s just takes me back to the main page again. So no way to do this.
