From today’s BLOPS changes announce:
These changes are being introduced in order to help bring the Black Ops out of the shadows and into the forefront as the top of the line in covert gameplay. With a ship that costs over a billion ISK, it should be something that players are able to use confidently while also putting their ship on the line in exchange for extreme firepower.
So in CCP’s paradigm ship which cost about ~1.7 bil should be buffed, but capital ships which now costs from ~10 bil to infinity - shouldn’t.
Logic…
Black ops have very little ehp compared to a capital thou, they are very different.

If blops bs dropped you, they are easier to hit so you might be able to take one with you if you play it right.

With the announcement, they will be closer to 2.7 B by the end of the day. They’re already listing at 2.3B

lost a lot of ships this days
but i can say some things about this kill
- there is a lot of pilots close and they didn’t help, i killed 2 hecates 2v1 in a t1 omen ,i killed a lot 1v1 in a t1 destroyer to, is not that hard , those cruisers could save you, i guess is the null sec way
- sensor booster , no tank , no point , no web, your fit is terrible against other players
- you were kinda close to a structure but isolated , why??? don’t do that
re 1: they did help, they (or the thanny) were out of position, see battle report I linked earlier
re 2: he was krabbing (or at least that should be the reason)
if they helped they are not good at it
i can kill 2 hecates per minute with medium/small lazors
to gank they have paper ehp , like less than a t1 algos
there was cruisers and destroyers there

Caps prices rised too after industry changes. So where’s buff?
Don’t know. Don’t care.
I was pointing out recent market trends. Not why they’re happening. Just that they are happening.
Use that information as you see fit.

Cap prices rose for a different reason. CCP wasn’t buffing the ships, they were changing the industry model.
This works both ways… imagine a big tank strolls into your neighbourhood, all alone.
You and your neighbours all grab your pistols and storm the tank. The tank’s big cannon doesn’t track fast enough that anyone would ever be caught right in front of it, so eventually you’re all sitting right on top of this tank. You’re hanging your dirty laundry on the tank’s turret, using its air holes as a lavatory, pissing against its viewscreens, whatever…
Eventually one of the tank operators gets sick and tired of being made to look silly, grabs a machine gun, opens a hatch and gets shot right between the eyes by the guy waiting at this hatch right for this event.
And that is how you kill a tank with 10 guys with pistols.
Of course, if this were 10 tanks supported by 30 infantry with a possibility of air support this would be an entirely different matter. No competent military commander sends a tank alone into hostile territory (or anywhere).

i mean, there was a lot of people thinking that capital ships are overpowered and their proliferation was one of the biggest problems of the game
its kinda refreshing to listem to such a novelty idea from a philosopher like you
OK, it’s an edge case, but can infantry kill a tank? (I apologise for the link to the Daily Mail).
Eve and Real Navies don’t align well - but the origins of “Destroyers” as escort ships for larger capital ships is worth looking up. They were originally known as TBDs - Torpedo Boat Destroyers.
you keep using the tank analogy and what you should use is an air craft carrier analogy being attacked by fighter jets, and based on the fit this guy had it should be an air craft carrier made of very thin aluminum.
EVE ships dont have ammo storages.
Sure they do - it’s your cargo hold.
EVE not have a ship which represent a sub.
Stealth Bombers are EvE’s subs.
