Hello,just an idea i think everyone would love it if yall brought back “The Captains Quarters” in the stations,and even more,where you could move your avatar around in the stations like a station “lobby”

After everyone’s had their Star Wars Canteena Scene moment, they’ll all be back outside in space.
Very few people are logging in and not going outside (at least on their main).
Can you please elaborate on that? Make it an Omega feature and it would indeed be good for the game. People are always being told to dock up for various reasons.
I dont see the harm in bringing it back. Really liked looking at my ship from that balcony.

The harm is lack of content for at least 6-9 months. Likely more.

Coming from the same people who made you crash if you docked with the feature on.
The only reason it would take that long, is because they only work 5 minutes a day, and 4 days a week on some other “game” to never never be released, and 2 is weekend.
I never crashed with that feature.
I play in High Sec. Par for the course. So you’re saying that Null Sec wouldn’t get content for once…

Everything you could do in CQ you can do better with third party apps and external websites. It’s one reason the internal browser also went away in EVE and why chat features like Discord (etc.) have become more prevalent than any in-game feature.
Local is for intelligence and to scam players.
I’ve heard the arguments against this so many times over the years, such as “it’ll take too much development time” and “>10% of players used it.” I’d just like to point out 10% of current daily Eve players is probably still ~20% more daily players than ever played Dust 514 and many more than have ever played the WoD MMO. I think this is the perfect time to bring back CQ as they could multipurpose a map from Vanguard. Treat it like a player housing thing and monetize it to increase the ROI. I’d pay $5-$10 bucks to have some Amarrian flair in my digs, like a prie-dieu or something.
What do you think Bastions will be?

The drawback is the cost, plain and simple.
Would that cost give a return on investment, more players show up and spend money.
I have always been a big fan of the Walk in Stations idea. Animated agents, corporate meeting rooms, and of course whatever the players can come up with. Player Generated Content. It is still alive in EVE.
At least, it seems to be after the last patch.
Something like WiS more than CQ from what I gather, though I’m not sure if it will have a “player housing” aspect to it, so I could be wrong.

I’ll give you some advice. Ignore 100% of what the miners and null care bears have to say. They have way to much gatekeeping and complaining to do to form a useful argument for or against any topic.

yea star trek online was cool with it, but our game here isn’t set up that way

We don’t need a lot of things in this game. Or any game. Or games at all. Games are not needed.
