I’m Carbon, and I’m running for CSM.
Now, you might wonder, what is this guy doing, posting his campaign thread with little more than an hour left before voting is about to start? I’m doing this in response to CCP’s recent treatment of many things, the CSM elections and the Alliance Tournament included, as little more than a chore to be delayed and taken care of at the last minute. I guess it’s worth mentioning I also submitted my application for the CSM with less than an hour left to spare before the deadline, so feel free to just think of me as a lazy person.
To introduce myself in more detail, I’m Carbon Alabel, currently member of Gemini Talon, Curatores Veritatis Alliance, living in and around Providence. What I do most in EVE is third-party development, creating various bots and utilities to be used by my friends, and I also lend myself heavily to the ideals of Provibloc and NRDS.
My primary topics of interest, which I would like to represent on the CSM, and that you are unlikely to see other candidates talking about, are availability of information (in particular, proper documentation of EVE’s many and varied game mechanics) and protection of personal information.
