CAT â IMPUIDENCE TRAINING
So I had been rewarding what I consider bad behaviour from my younger cat Sally as lately she canât wait for the 6pm meal and she has started clawing at my leg today 4:45pm even though my older Cat George is in his basket in front of me like the picture above and that he knows itâs not 6pm meal time .
I have giving into the bad behaviour and itâs become more intense as itâs happening earlier than the normal routine.
What do I do?
It depends on how you feed them, if youâre feeding them fresh food twice a day it might help to try and have some dry food available between meals in case they feel like snacking. Cats are tuned to eating 4 to 6 smaller meals a day and might grow hangry after 10-12 hours fasting.
As for the aggressive behaviour, cats are tuned to action-> eating, you might try breaking the loop with a mix of stonewalling her (ignore her attacks, easier said than done), wait at least 20 minutes before feeding her after an attack, and keeping her in a separate room while you ready the meal (so thereâs a shift in her mental map between here I hunt/ here I eat).
With cats having solely dry food an automated food dispenser is the easier way to go -the hangry cat might try attacking the food thing but it will not yield any result and the cat with resign to their misery and wait for the scheduled mealtime.
With our cats they had dry food and we used to fill their plates three times a day and they would eat whenever there was someone in the kitchen. They had a strong âguard and eatâ instinct, and one of our cats would scold my mother on weekends for being late to âherâ breakfast⌠
I just cave in and set out a bowl of wet food enough to feed her more than she needs. When sheâs done, I cover the bowl and put it in the fridge along with the can with a cover.
Rinse and repeat⌠

My cat likes seafood. Would Scallops a la Plancha be good enough for you? I have to settle with scallops wrapped in bacon. (Theres a trick to getting it right, turn up the oven temp for the last 5 min to crisp the bacon without over cooking the scallops.) I love scallops! 
If you like seafood, itâs a shame you probably will not get to try Maine lobster. In a class of its own for shellfish! Even if itâs just boiled although I prefer baked/stuffed with a good crab meat.
I have different colored lightbulbs just for shits and giggles but Iâm going to pick up a blacklight just to see if one of them makes my cats eyes glow red!
While I prefer to sleep on my side because itâs better for your back, my cat sleeps under my arm with her chin resting on my shoulder. Sleeping on my back is a small price to pay for that much trust and love.

For the life of me I have been going over the text and cannot find anything I said wrong, but I do have some sweet 4 letter words for the muppet.
Oh btw, there is no option ( as you can see ) except to delete it. I cannot find anything else other than to question the decision here. I see the GMs are asking questions. I wonder how many months it will take to get an answer?
