Knowledge, experience, planning and organisation. You know: all the things that take effort, time and practise to achieve. It’s far easier to just point fingers and go “I R woeful newbie, it’s impossible for me to achieve anything because reasons” so you never have to achieve anything and can keep blaming others or the game.

I was very clear about how CCP failed to make others pay the bill and only taxes the new guys, but if you feel threatened there’s nothing I can do.

CCP doesn’t make money off new players because none of them stay.
99% of CCPs income is from bots and whales.

You don’t have to spend any money in this game if you choose not to. You cannot spend money to get an advantage in game.

Yes, that is just spending money for quality of life. The only actual pay to win that exists is upgrading from alpha to omega, as you can theoretically be more powerful as an omega due to the extra skills unlocked.
Yep. They are getting inspired by blizzard maybe. They have the option to do a training char at like -10 to level cap. It can let you see how the class works with all casts and talents in place.
CCP is jsut charging for it is all. Wow does as well since iirc this on paid subs only and trials don’t see it.
The almost max level trial setup I actually liked in wow tbh. It lets you see before you go down the path towards it. And for some classes in wow it shows you there is an end to some tunnels. As some classes suck to level since alot of what makes them work isn’t coming in the mid level phase.
IN this case a player can see if they really like say mining at higher levels. I went down that dark path lol. On the fence about extracting it out on the second’s account main to hook up an alt actually.
Noobs allready had & have the chance to trial all skill tree professions in eve via the use of skill injectors & extractors.
Expert systems just allow ccp to cut out veteran players ie, skill farmers from this matter keeping 100% profits to themselves.
CCP is attempting to abandon/ignore its considerable community, subscription & development debt in TQ. Their debt is visible in SP, PLEX - outstanding subscription liability & the considerable input from 3rd party tool makers who are compensated by ccp in $, plex, concierge game service & affiliate systems.
As a player owner of CCP I am not concerned by CCP actions, they are quickly going to be reminded why they made plex in the first place if they continue on this road.
I think the road is a dead end anyway, expert system will not make the turnover to warrant further development. It will likely detract from other monetisation policy too. Expect expert systems to at worse be non functioning in 12 months or gathering dust with no new career/ship packs.

Having new customers buy SP, for a complex game they don’t understand, is a good way to not maintain subscriptions. Some game-poor cash-rich sucker is going to buy a bunch of SP, sell plex for isk to fit a ship they don’t understand and then loose it because they don’t know what they’re doing. “I spent all this money, and still got my a$$ kicked!” … which will lead CCP to “Oh, if we want to keep these guys, we need to sell golden ammo too!”
Devs might care, accountants don’t.
