CCP and the Driffters

yes. we do. welcome to game mechanics. how many structures are in YOUR staging system?

yeah. it’s newish. instagibbing npcs that appear outta nowhere… boy, that’s some great content right there…

uh, he does make decisions. on a strategic as opposed to a tactical level. and tbh, he doesn’t really need to log in much. we don’t even use evemail (for security reasons), so what does he need to log in for?

This thread…and others over the situation…
So much salt…

Has any one stopped (looking at you specifically here Mittani) and wondered if this is not just CCP, but maybe hard push by PA for CCP to do something to clear the field and level it. By level it making those that cant stand it to actually quit playing…or at least drop nullsec, or ramp up intensity till the big Null boyz do start falling apart, or even quit themselves?

Does or would PA have an agenda? and would PA not CCP be more inclined to do something in the face of a threat by a player group to attempt to ruin their bottom line by attempting to destroy the games economy? PA is afterall a Korean company, and at one point had stated they had thousands of Korean players waiting to play EvE.

To those actually quitting, or threatening to quit over this…or the nullblocs (again looking at you Mittani aka Alexander, if you deign to respond here) would it not be better to stay and just do the PvE and beat it hands down to spit in their face?

You goons are severely out of touch.

Maximize profit.

If that means nuking null then so be it. If that means bouncing boobies in stations then we’ll be seeing a lot of them. If it means consensual PVP only, then that’s what you get. Loot boxes, P2W, sub + MT, etc…all on the table.

You people have no idea of the actual consequences of a profit motivated corporation absorbing a game created as a labor of love.

Some people here are really spitting salt do they?

All i heard in the past was “the moment you undock you have to risk your ship and you accept pvp even in high”…

Well NOW you have to fear PVE in null also…so what’s the big deal?

That you actually have to WORK for your money even in null now ?

Well i think that’s just fair enough…you should make it even more dangerous for them because they are the pro gamers…or aren’t they?

Are they so supposed to do anything in a loop that they have forgotten how it is to actually BE in danger?
Like we are always in high?

Well than…welcome to EVE…
If you cannot stand this then the game is nothing for you and you should leave…

LOL
Do unto others, what has been done to you:

I hope you all do exactly as you threaten, the chaos would be wonderful!

It all may not result how you think - things are very different situationally these days in regards to ccpPA and their likely tolerance for actual interference with their bottom line - but it will be highly entertaining however things turn out!

Just do it!

Lol if the “big bad wolf alliances” come to high and do not behave ccp will simply kick their big butts out of the game this is the only “consequence” high will suffer…

That and my builder has over a hundred billion worth of hulls that would quickly double (or even triple) in value.

History tells us that the sentiment from CCP will be along the lines of “this is ferkin’ great”

Try harder Balass.

Maybe but seemingly CCP is driving a different strategy right now or has CCP EVER bothered the big null alliances in the past?

This is NOT the CCP of the past, this is a CCP under the Pearl Abyss agenda and Pearl Abyss do not care about “tradition” or “privileges” or “the feelings” of a nullbear they want to see PROFIT and profit ONLY…

Better get used to this idea or in the future your jaw will drop so often that it will hurt…

Well if they want to see profit, they need to stop catering to these null babies. Large fleets can be fun from time to time, but it was ever about the small gang and solo.

And its those dudes that really spend on the shinies.

Not f1 monkies moaning because their army of afk ratting vni’s cant operate properly so he can’t go on a 100 man fleet thats worth about as much isk as one of my ships…

Or sit around waiting to hotdrop caps on lone frigates because space is dangerous…

This is the real Eve online. HTFU or GTFO.

We forget this is actually a roleplaying game that is controlled by CCP who did not agree to inform us of every event ingame. This has actually made me want to go Join a massive alliance and help out. I really like sophisticated AI and i wouldn’t really be bothered by losing a couple of ships attempting to stand my ground against this AI. This is what we call gaming, ask any real gamer and explain the current eve drifter situation and they will tell you its a cool and innovative way to manage a game.

A mysterious race suddenly coming back from out of nowhere and shooting things is epic sci-fi.

From a business point of view I think this is a bold action by CCP, it seems they want to assert their authority a bit and show us they can acctually have a huge impact on our ships and structures if they choose to do so. I’m sure many have been humbled by this ordeal.

says the dude that doesn’t have to ACTUALLY DEAL WITH THIS ■■■■. eve is supposed to be about player interaction, not instagibbing op, untracable npcs. pve is supposed to be overall a way to generate player interactions.

It still is. when you get time log in and talk with your alliance buddies and work out a way to fight them.

We got too used to dictating how the game should be to CCP, CCP have HTFU and shown us what is what.

The only player interaction you seem to be providing is your whine on these forums.

Would you like some cheese with that?

Maybe some crackers?

Delay the crackers, your salty enough.

Are you asking for the number of structures we actually use or how many there are in total, including the dozen plus of meme ones with funny names that are never actually used?

huh? O_o
