Lol Salvos. I talked with a GM, on two separate computers running two separate alpha accounts back when Ascension was brand new. I told them of this fact; that they were talking to two of me, they asked me if it was on the same computer or not. I said no two different computers. I then told him I wasnt a newbro and thanked him and CCP for their efforts in convoing newbros into the game and allowed him to go do his job.
Nothing was stated by a GM to me nor ever has been. CCPs official stance was that alpha accounts were like trials, limited to one per computer without any other client loaded onto it.
Now that being said CCP can change this at any time. And if it would get out of hand I am certain CCP would change this ruling right quick. The EULA just gives them the power to do so at any time.
If you want to ask CCP if what the ISD said is correct or not Id suggest a petition instead of a flame war on the forums that just makes you look kinda silly in this instance.
So if youd like to flame someone for openly admitting to it I submit myself that I have done it while speaking to a GM. I could even show you the chat logs from both accounts if youd like.

The question to CCP as in OP, as to the correctness of the quotes ISD statement, still stands.

Nope. He just asked if it was legit and I said yes. I have 4 computers here, a 5th I shall rebuild with parts I ordered in a few days. So I am an oddity in that sense. Now to use it them badly Im sure CCP would drop the banhammer as sure I could do a lot with 4 or 5 alpha accounts. Yet given SP farming I dont see why anyone would even want to if they have half a brain and then u dont need all the computers anyways so in most cases its a moot point.
And as emotionally invested as you are in this topic its not a terribly great with hunt to waste your time on imo.

If you ran multiple alphas and/or alphas+omegas, simultaneously, that is against the ISD statement and the quoted section of TOS/EULA.
Hence:
CCP, is the quoted statement by the ISD correct, or not?
And Im saying that a GM that I talked to during live chat vetos an ISDs statement for me. YMMV.
Make a support ticket and ask. They won’t respond like this.

I think this thread warrants a public response, as the ISDs statement was made in public.
Yes but you ahve to remember that both ISDs and GMs represent CCP. One, in a volunteer capacity, and the other in an official job position capacity. ISDs regulate the forums and moderators while GMs, being Game Masters, can make judgements, from official CCP statements, regarding the internal and daily workings for the game itself. In fact they are like the Concord of the game in an official daily capacity.
Devs, though they have Concord like powers, usually develop and create the game world and maintain balance like judges or a Supreme Court ideology.
So if you want CCPs official response Id suggest a petition. Asking to get a Dev/GM response in thread for everyone to see is futile as most things are still taken on a case by case basis unless CCP officially wants to release a statement such as an exploit statement and then it will do so officially through a Devblog release not on the forums, at least not in GD itself.
Now as for me getting a GMs approval is enough for me for an official response. But it wont be for others, this is okay and normal. Yet I am unconcerned about breaking any EULA/TOS or other issues even if you say I have.
