Actually Zaera does play Star citizen. Not only is Zaera a High Admiral, - but she and her cutthroat band of pirates rule the skies with her Polaris, Zaera is the most feared ship captain ever.

If you buy a mining permit, you get access to my pleasure palace with a swimming pool, bar, sauna, VIP suite with a television , double bed and Zaera running around naked if you lucky before she headshots you

Let me know when that game reaches full release in another twenty years. It’s a complete buggy mess. I’ve no desire to play it.. Falling through floors- dying in elevators… No thanks!

According to latest news I’ve seen on YT they are running out of money quick (not even sure how that is possible… I mean I know of course ) so if they can’t pull off a release very soon there might not be another 20 years. 
This review was released one month ago. He is genuinely positive about the game, but acknowledges that it’s still a really huge buggy and confusing mess. The very same complaints that were a problem 10 years ago.
Doesn’t matter if they release it or not, we got lots of shiny toys to play with, miners and haulers to pop and bears to terrorise.

Of course the whole article and further research into the subject is advised, the above is just a summary of parts of what I’ve seen in news videos. So as I wrote the issues is finance related and some of their recent actions regarding monetization methods and others (including delaying launch) seem to be in support of that assessment.

I feel you, but I disagree. I think gate camps and gankers add so much to the game. I like that the universe is actively hostile, and that I have to watch my back.
I’m ignoring all the comments about star citizen.
When I say removed - I mean in its current form. I’m not opposed to an overhaul.
Gatecamps are fine, as they have counterplay.
I love busting up gatecamps!
HS ganking has no counterplay.
