Hey all!
CCP (Crowd Control Productions) are indeed Fenris Creations. We’ve been CCP for 29 years, so there will be some time to update our names and references. And of course, many of you will continue to call us CCP - which is totally fine. I’ve been an EVE player since 2004, and CCP games is ingrained in my head - it’ll be a tricky habit to break!
As a player, my character was named Elise Randolph and I still respond to “Elise” being said, and that definitely won’t change anytime soon.
Hellmar has written a devblog discussing the change (A New Era | EVE Online) and what it means. He’s also done a deeper dive into the name Fenris Creations and the history it holds for the company, which you can check out here: https://x.com/HilmarVeigar/status/2052055483075150034
