CCP. Here is how to start healing EVE

Oh I do

It’s ok bruv.

Surely no one is laughing at you for suggesting to make a ship untargetable

a ship that is fast AF AND have 2+ bonus to warp core strength btw

Oh yes please, I need lots of gas these days…

Closing down the forums would probably be a good start. The moderation is stifling.

I’m not taking any sides in your other discussions but as a solo pilot i don’t even bother to try to hunt ventures in LS because if the guy is online he can warp fast way before one can land on the grid
and the +2 makes impossible to scram with no bling or multiple modules
sooooo
i think the devs made the venture with the purpose of being as safe as it gets

That’s a symptom of a bigger issue within the player base. No one wants to take sides and have to endure the constant harassment from the ganking community. There’s a large group of players that just want to be left alone. What’s wrong with that? I use Eve as an escape from the criminals I have to deal with 5 days a week. I don’t want to log in and have to put up with the very type of behavior that I’m trying to avoid on my time off,

i was saying i don’t particularly take any side on your discussion with @Gix_Firebrand because i don’t really followed all the points
but on the ganking stuff

im not a ganker myself but I’m pro ganking
i think is a valid enterprise as any other in the game

and btw i find the princess a sweet person and consider her a friend

Just checking to see if this dumpster was still on fire…

You are playing an MMO with thousands of other players. You want to be left alone? Play a single player game…

Ah, that makes sense. In all my years of dealing with Aiko, I’ve never seen this “sweet side” that you refer to. I’m not saying that it doesn’t exist, I’ve just never witnessed it.

So you’re saying that there’s NO ROOM in Eve’s MASSIVE Universe for people that want to be left alone? Do you know what that makes you sound like? Why does it have to be your way, and only your way? Inclusive isn’t a bad thing.

The players who “just want to be left alone” make up a very small, yet unfortunately very vocal minority. I’m primarily a PVE player, and I’ve managed to get along just fine for 16 years now…

We have a winner. He guessed correct. There are other people in this game, and they will let any other player know…

You couldn’t be more wrong. The people that want to be left alone aren’t complaining about it, they’re just quitting. Your statement is completely upside down and counterintuitive.

You didn’t answer my question. Why not give those people a place to enjoy PvE? I don’t think you have an answer and will just continue with the whole drivel your lot clings too.

Look at where the majority of assets are destroyed:

25% of trade value is ridiculous.

Yes, they are, on the forum, daily.

Because a “safe” place to enjoy PVE would only encourage rampant botting in perfect safety, that’s why. This can be seen in nullsec blocs all the time. Players ratting and botting in supers while under an alliance umbrella. It would be ten times worse in high sec…

You don’t know what you’re talking about. If CCP can’t reign in botting, that’s their own damn fault. Stop being an a-hole and let people have some space they actually want to spend time in. There’s a clinical term for people like you.

I have a hard time taking the botting argument seriously though. While I have been caught exactly once in my Ishtar it was only due to me failing to turn off my Afterburner. Yet I get accused of botting a lot by players in local even though I am talking to them and half the time jumping into a combat ship to go fight them. (hint they almost always run away as they don’t want a fight they want easy kills.)

Does botting happen most definitely, there are much better ways to remove it and combat it then the way its currently done.

Point on the safe place, there should never be a truly safe place in Eve without you or your alliance actively working to make it a safe place. I have zero issues with an alliance that works together to keep their space patrolled and safe for its members.

However, paying attention, knowing who the gankers are, scouts, burning pings and tons of other things will go a long way to keeping a player safe compared to not doing those things. Yet if you do those things half the Gank community will call you a botter.

I’m all for PVE players having a safe space, on one condition. Any ISK or items obtained in that safe space can never leave that space, nor can any ISK or items be imported into that space. No way to affect the economy. You want to keep your shiny mission running ship? Fine, but it will never be able to leave the space you are in and you will never be able to transfer any ISK out of that safe space to support anyone outside of it.

But they don’t want that. They want to be able to have their cake and eat it too…

Where do you come up with this trash? Jealousy seems to be your driving force. Let it go, mate, it’s not a good look.

Why should everyone else have to fight to keep what they have while you get to earn unlimited ISK in perfect safety?
