CCP Hilmar, CCP Falcon, and CCP Goodfella reveal their plans for an Eve Era of CHAOS in this new interview!

Its not my opinion its CCPs.

But why not take it up with your landlords?

They seem to think it has made no difference to how they operate. Check the Blackout megathread if you dont believe me.

Or comm them yourself.

There is a easy way to proof if CCP is on line with their players.

Need official poll or survey.

everything else is christmas

if CCP distribute skillpoints for free its no wonder that player numbers increased for a while.

Oh and when would that be? You say that for a long time now and so far you where completely wrong? How long are you going to wait? How long until the game fails if CCP does not convert EVE into a carebear heaven? Half a year? One year? Two?

How long are you willing to wait and cry on a forum of a game you don’t like unless it changes into something completely different?

No, they just push the risk averse players that only do stuff in perfect safety back to highsec where they belong by making null dangerous again. If you are not willing to risk your ship then you don’t deserve access to the best resources of the game. And there are many people adapting to the risk and are still capable of farming in nullsec just fine. HTFU

no they dont
null was never a save place
SOV gives you an home advantage and this is good because the ppl with sov worked hard for it.

CCP created space for everyone
total secure lovers play in highsec
fans of the unexpected live in wormholes
pvp enthusiasts live in lowsec
and the housing fans live in 0.0

I dont know where the problem is ?
There is no need for changing a running system.

Goon 0.0 seems to be save because of massive player backup around the clock.
if CCP wanted to shake up the 3 big sandcastles they only have to limit alliance membership.
Then you have a lot more fluctuation in game.

I can see only one reason for that all
( making EVE easier, blackout, skillpoints for free, plex 15% discount )

Its all about the lovely money

Ive already laughed at this

Stop it, Im running out of reaction images

That is still the case, but local was too big of an advantage and made it too secure.

The problem is that nullsec had a super secure ISK printing machine because of perfect free intel about who is in the system. Now it is actually dangerous again, hence all the tears from the krabs.

I don’t see that connection, sorry

you really laughing about anyone?

Yes. Anyone who says they work for safety in Null.

Are your eyes painted on or what?

You mean like CCP did in 2003 when they decided to publish a game that very definitely was not aimed at the overwhelming majority “casual” market?

And here we are in 2019, Eve is still going, blinkered fools like you are still insisting that Eve will die unless it caters to “casuals”.

Excluding the behemoth in the room, World of Warcraft, how many MMO’s from 2003/4 that catered to the majority “casual” market are still around?

You lost this argument 16 years ago in 2003, which going by your posting is probably before you were born.

Get over it.

It looks like CCP cant support a complex sandbox type of game and try to convert it to some kind of space fortnite

No its not that. Its just that most of Pvpers I’ve flown with would rather shoot ships than towers.
POS warfare was normally too boring. Many would just watch a movie or bring a book do to the snore factor.

Entosis warfare is a huge bore, for new and old players, many people avoid entosis interactions due to the nature of the mechanic itself, but at the same time it is a baseline system for capture that could be fallen back on. Maybe rather then screaming nerf we look into things that could use a buff. The bastion and siege modules could use a buff.

We could make it so that if you are willing to risk a bit more then t1 frigates, you could get more rewards! Allow the bastion and siege modules to allow weapons to penetrate ihub and tcu hardening. While a bastion or siege module is active, you can directly damage them and bypass entosis entirely, for both timers. Also allow these modules to allow for exceeding the damage cap on citadels without removing it entirely. Allow super sluggish movement, and even super slow align/warp while disabling activation of prop mod, im talking super slow like a 90 second warp while module is active. With the siege module the trade off could be that capacitor regans slow enough so that it would be very difficult to jump out immediately after exiting siege, and the ability to self rep is lost entirely. Bastion module gets a bigger damage buff, and would still allow cap recharge and self reps. You would see more escalations as people try to bypass entosis, bigger, more expensive things would be risked. But if you don’t want to risk then you can always fall back to the baseline. People will risk more, people will lose more, supers will die to elaborate setups thanks to blackout and subpar intel, things will burn, and there could be a lot more fun involved!

Disallow doomsdays and heavy fighter torpedo abilities in lowsec, and remove HAWS and long range fighters from the game entirely, or gut their tracking against subcaps. This wouldn’t be too drastic but still be an effective nerf. But in the end I think buffing less used stuff rather then nerfing things into irrelevance is the more correct move.

Kill asset safety because it keeps memorable moments from occurring in this game. It is too easy to cop out, but find a way to make it so that there is a way to keep these items from being destroyed entirely, allow them to be recovered like back in the day when they were only locked in a station but not destroyed, but for the love of eve stop them from teleporting everything to the nearest safe space. I don’t know the answer here. Maybe jettison everything down to a planet in system if a structure is lost, allowing for recovery from a Poco should your force hold the system’s ihub/poco again in the future, or you join their group down the road with a spy or otherwise. :stuck_out_tongue: If another group owns the poco they can charge a tax or deny transport. So you may want to take a poco. Update poco models to look like a small outpost from ingame assets, but have them behave like SMA where ships need to be put into space, items need to go to your cargo. The sight of a freighter at a PoCo would be one to behold!

Resource depletion is an excellent idea, also it would be great to add unique value to certain areas besides faction battleship blueprints, some regions should hold more value to counteract places with high value in regional layout alone. Make geopolitics rise once again!

Oh ok, so tell us, if the alliance you are fighting doesn’t feel like undocking, how do you make them bring their ships out?

Present a target they might be willing to take on. If you outnumber people 5 to 1 and/or have 4927 caps on standby probably means they don’t want to attack. And lets be frank, a massive group like that has those numbers because they don’t want to be attacked either.

Whatcha anglin at there, sport?

entosis is probably the best thing CCP has come up with.
