The numbers went up that is true, but there was also a SP reward for logging in so thats not a valid statistic.
Also pretty much everyone went out to use this and get some fights while it’s fresh.
The real effect will only show after enough time has passed and it’s shurely not to get more people to move to Null who didn’t want to be there before while people who did and now no longer feel safe are more likely to quit than move back to Highsec wich they already had decided to leave long ago.

But you know that null is supposed to be dangerous? CCP is fixing mistakes they made some years ago and honestly? This only upset people they want to get rid of anyway.
Only there is no danger involved in mining behind a gatecamp.
It’s only more effort, giving mega alliances even more advantage compared to small groups who might want to try gaining a foothold in Nullsec and making content other get getting droped on by caps even less likely than it is already.
Also your disaproving of people who want to build stuff rather than pvp only is a wide spread but stupid attitude among griefers and wallet warriors.
It’s almost like people don’t understand that without those people they’d have to rat and mine for themselves and become the nullbears they despise.

Some times it’s protect my sandcastle, others it’s kick over that guys sandcastle.
The whole whining about ‘Eve has become too safe’ is just a different way of saying ‘Please buff whaling’ and the natural result will be less content for everyone when people leave and those that stay know how to not loose their assets.

Well thats where our reading differs. Because its not the blower uppers who are leaving. Its not the makers who are also blower uppers who are leaving.
Its the makers and keepers and lose nothingers who are leaving.
Basically, the only people holding back a non-dynamic EvE are at least threatening to leave, and thats a good thing.
If Certain (highly specialised) animals go extinct because the environment changes, then the non-niche animals will thrive in the resource space vacated.
I dont believe EvE is Dying, never have, never will. This is just the Summer 2019 remix of that tired song Ive heard so many times.

I remeber having to move back from a deployment early just a few weeks ago because someone decided to spawn garbage rats on our stuctures instead of letting us fight a war against a player alliance.

This is a cheap game for them to run with only a niche player base. They lost a lot before, I think they can afford it again.
This is just a problem that has existed for many years, which occurred out of null bears and the CSM crying about not enough reward in Null. They got it and now this is just the reckoning of the risk level to meet those rewards.
In the end this will hopefully revitalize the game as null is no longer a theme park safe ride.
As to those who do not like the riskier null. Go to Lo-sec or Hi-sec or Adapt.

I believe because my old friends are coming back to game and I also believe more company than bots that claim they will leave game and unsub billions of his RMT alts because they think someone care about them. Actually I like ocean of salt coming from this.
