There has to be no fighting in high at all…so no one has to fight your battles…there simply WLL BE no battle…some people are defending the PVP everywhere that’s all…they haven’t realized how weak their arguments are compared to the moneymaking wish of PA…traditions do not count at all…opinions neither…if you can double the players online via a total turn to mainstream than you have to do it…

The value for Pearl Abyss in CCP probably isn’t Eve Online the game, it’s more likely to be the intellectual property associated with it and the possibilities they present.

CCP have already proved that there are mainstream markets for Eve Online spin-offs; what they haven’t had is the finances to pursue those spin-offs properly. There’s at least one in the pipeline right now aimed at the mobile market.

An awful lot of gamers like to read about Eve and the shenanigans it enables, but it’s not a game they wish to play, because it’s not for them

These non Eve players who love the concept and stories but don’t wish to participate in the nitty-gritty are much more likely to be targeted by CCP with games that share the lore, artwork etc but that aren’t Eve.

CCP are unlikely to change a game that is a valuable intellectual property because of its scope, its established, if controversial nature, and what it represents; and still has a fairly healthy number of players as things go.

Eve itself is unlikely to change in the manner you want it to, but there is a possibility that CCP may produce something that shares much of Eve in looks and mechanics, but without the parts you so dislike.

That game wouldn’t be Eve, it would be Eve-lite, and tailored towards a more mainstream market; and more especially to people like yourself that can’t handle the real thing.
