CCP successfully eliminated ganking

I have been hit by a car while crossing the street. I didn’t do either.

No, it wouldn’t. It would just overly protect people from the game itself and they’d treat it like a farming game until they quit. Your post is quite contradicting to that thread of yours.

It’s funny how he moved from “real PvP” to “quality PvP” without that changing anything about what’s going on. He has a really, really :pinching_hand: one.

I hope not…I was really referring to hisec suicide ganking here, which I’m sure puts off lots of very new players before they ever even venture into losec, where being shot at is quite rightly the default position. Basically I’m for anything that encourages newbs to learn enough about the game to potentially become properly invested for the longer term.

What percentage of players under 90 days old do you thing are suicide ganked?

Last time somebody ran the numbers it was less than 3% in the sample used.

Calm down, miner.

I had come to find that it is a lot harder to get ganked than most people think.

… yeah?

It’s not most people. It’s a few people who keep exaggerating it, with enough other equally intelligent people and their alts parrotting. They’re all either idiots or liars. Just look at freighter ganking threads, check how many freighters actually get ganked and then do a rough guess about how many freighters there must be out there.

Some people actually scanned the killboards, did the math and posted about it. What happened? The liars ignore it or move the goalpost. They’re not “most” people. They’re just successfully making it look like they’re many thanks to all of those who don’t have any problem with it, who never speak up.

Hmm I am a Miner, and I Freight my own with an Alt account and when I do I use short single gate trips.

If I need items moved of value to me I use Red Frog Freight. I am sure that they have a team of pilots who act as spotters.

I think if you take the risk, you run the risk to become a fright target. Now It did happen to me a few times, first being one where I was asked afterwards what am I doing will all of that tobacco. I had replied, “bootlegging!”

You really belong here.

My first Human vs Human contact and ship loss.

And the time before that was a pod, but doesn’t count but the funny thing is the very first ship loss was vs an NPC Autothysian Lancer on a gate.

What makes you so sure?

You’re telling me that you undocked an untanked T1 hauler in a Low-Sec system near where PL recently deployed and someone from PL got you? I’m shocked.

I didn’t know what low sec was, I was very new to the game.

You got a warning on your screen before you jumped the gate into low, so you did know what low sec was .

I turned that off two days before when i was in Nul sec and was hunting npc’s

So, you knew what low and nul sec was.

When do we really read what we see that is in front of us when we have a goal that drives us.

If you need we can discuss what you might be chasing, I am logged on right now. o/
