Many games have ways of preventing people from running away. Stuns, roots, sleeps, slows, lures, to name a few. This is not an EVE only thing. All MMOs have something similar (and ways to get around it, which EVE also has).
Your bot gets caught?
When you combine unforgiving death and easy perma stunning you have gone too far
There’s counterplay to warp disruption. Jam the target, neut them out, shoot them back, pull enough range, or just use dscan/other intel tools to not be there in the first place. Without any sort of warp disruption the attacker’s only option is to bring a massive amount of firepower to kill stuff before it aligns, and quite frankly I don’t think you like that sort of gameplay either. This also doesn’t work well against large ships, for instance to kill an unfitted aeon before it warps off in 30 seconds you’d need to bring over 600,000 DPS.
What unforgiving death are you talking about? You shouldn’t be flying what you can’t afford to replace.
You are all wrong so far. You are wrong. You are wrong.
Excellent rebuttal /s
Please go play another free game. You got your trophy for just showing up already. There are many more games out there to be lazy at and more comfortable than eve for you.
I wonder why most people just avoid PVP.

Ideally there is a higher purpose to PVP and it not just being for the killmail. I fly without point in PVP and i enjoy it. It is satisfying when the other person warps off, because i was actually trying to capture a plex.
They would need to pair warp disruption removal with something like an incoming DPS cap in order to prevent alpha strike harassment. Otherwise griefers will just artillery gangbang everything in duels. It’s already prevalent in ganking and you can see just how much it hurts player retention (98% of players quit within 2 weeks).
Because their just sheep ripe for the wolfs as they simply run into instead of running away from? I have to ask.
This rule doesn’t apply to just PVP. It applies to anything you undock in.
Good for you. For everyone else, if the mouse gets away the cat has lost. You can continue flying around without a point and “winning” but that’s not what the vast majority of the playerbase wants to do. Also a lot of times that “higher purpose” involves keeping hostiles out of your neck of the woods, which is a lot harder to do when you’re basically not allowed to kill them.
I stand corrected. At least I can admit when I’m wrong.
If this was true CONCORD wouldnt exist and practically no-one would play the game
You can continue flying around without a point … but that’s not what the vast majority of the playerbase wants to do.
How do you know?
Keep reworking the quote…
Because most of them aren’t here whining about warp disruption existing.
This is how i know you argue in bad faith. You just exposed yourself
Could you explain your reasoning? Why would CONCORD not exist? I’m pretty sure people will still be impatient or ignorant and still move billions in freighters or other easily gankable ships. Faction warfare is also very popular and uses very cheap ships, enough so that the last 3 expansions were based on it. People will still sell PLEX if they don’t want to make isk in-game and loss ships in pvp. Most players in the game are PVPers. Fear of loss is why disruptors are important, otherwise very little will be destroyed, especially Titans and supers. The lack of ships and modules needing to be replaced would cause rampant inflation and ruin the game.
