CCP vs GM, what is the difference?

I have been looking at some kills, and see that GMs also roam with CCP, but both are part of the same alliance. Anyone mind explain the difference of the two?

CCP accounts are employees who have some sort of development role or position. GM accounts (game master, game manager, etc.) are non-developer employees who primarily resolve customer support issues.

And occasionally have a very much insufficient or wrong understanding of the game and cause more harm than they help. Best recent example: GM idea of gate grid departures between ganks and how it’s an exploit.
