Yeah, I don’t think Ad signs for Coke, Pizza, etc will last very long in New Eden.
As for Billboards at Gates and Stations, CCP should just reinstate Concords ‘Most Wanted’ Bounty list and mix in some Scope News videos, could even add a couple of commercial stills like this:

Oh man, I don’t remember exactly when I took that screen shot. I believe it was sometime after CCP had updated all the Nebula and Planet graphics in space, pretty sure it was after the new Character Creation was implemented so I’m thinking at least 7 yrs ago.
Maybe @CCP_Falcon would know when that advert was implemented.

I seem to recall some of the Alliances paying for their adverts to get cycled through. That was cool for a while. Until the Trig took over the screens for a while with their weird message (sans subtitles). And after they gave the screens back, it’s been Glasses Guy ever since.
I agree with the folks above. I’d like to see the old stuff that used to play on the TV in CQ.

And, at the time of the anti-drugs advert - it was illegal to transport them in highsec. If customs NPC’s caught you, that cargo would be confiscated. Edit: I am mainly thinking of combat booster drugs.

Yes, and one of the starter missions (hauling/industry I think) was to haul a package of drugs. Not a lot of people scouted the gate and got caught by customs and had to pay and lose security standings.
