I just happened to misplace a buy order and got a 2.3 Billion isk Accellerator Booster… and activated it… it lasts for 23 days!!! 580 hours!!! So I had to ourchase a new Omega just so not to lose this Bosster costed me more than one month Omega!!! And I was in a stupid Abyss Clone…
Now I wanted to switch back to my main Science Clone, so at least I could lose less money… but I rememebered that jumping clones loses all Boosters… but this one Month Boosters are too much!!!
I am stuck with this clone for one month now…
Maybe , Just maybe, it could be discussed to change Cerebral accellerator Boosters in something else that don’t goes away like other Boosters used for PVP… a “not a Booster” but maybe just a….
One time “licenced BOOK” that can be stored in your Quarter and you read at night and boosts your stats??? So it don’t have to burn with your Clone, because you don’t actually “OWN” the “Book”…
I’m so hangry with me… I thought it was just a normal 2.3 million booster… I never saw anything like this… ! Month 2.3 Billion Booster??? That was more than 10% of my total NET reserves…
If only there was a BIG RED WALLET BUTTON also that would prevent people with poor eyes to commit such stupid purchases…

As said in the other thread you made on this topic, you can freely switch clones or lose clones without losing your cerebral accelerator.
In fact it’s a common trick to sit in a clone with the implant to extend the duration of boosters while you activate an expensive cerebral accelerator to get more benefit from it, and switch out of that clone afterwards.
There are no 2.3 million ISK cerebral accelerators, especially not with the name ‘expert’ in them. It’s a strong powerful cerebral accelerator most useful for players above 80 million skillpoints who wish to increase their skill training by 8 points for the month as they cannot efficiently use skill injectors anymore.
Also if it’s only 10% of your net reserve, what are you really complaining about? Sounds like a cheap mistake. It’s a good booster you bought. And you still have 90%.
There already exists a warning if you attempt to buy something that is massively overpriced compared to market prices.
It however won’t warn you if you wish to buy an expensive item that is isn’t overpriced, like this booster.
Do people really need a button to warn them “this titan you wish to buy is expensive!”, or is it up to the players themselves to know better what they’re trying to buy?
Either way, a good method to protect your wallet against accidental big purchases is to store the majority of your spare ISK on another character. It’s what I do. If you ever need the money you can access it, but you won’t be able to accidentally spend 2.3 billion on a booster if you only have around 1 billion in wallet by default.

I read on other threads that a Booster is a Booster and will be wiped out if you switch clones,
this had been done to prevent clone switching for bad rollings… or something on those lines…
are you 100% certain I can???

I was 100% certain it was 2-3 Mil… I thought it was cheap!!! Those that I took would last two-three days and cost 20-60 mil…. but I couldn’t tell the difference enough… maybe the Icon for such massive Boosters should look different? Or Could?
Visually they look absolutely identical to those gifted from time to time from CCP, I just got another one for purchasing a new 1 Month Omega account… and had three of them expired I forgot to use ( I was in Alpha for some time)
