Change weight for prisoners

7.5m3 per is redic ..are we bringing the entire cell its security mission not a hualing mission lets fix this

I see absolutely zero point in this thread.

Why is this an issue, and why did you put it in the UI section of the forum?

Yes you are.

do you take up 7.5m3? no .. thats the point i cant think of any other transportsable “person” required for mission completion takes up this much and since you need 50 prisoners well do the math, a basic re adjustment as part of a QoL to bring them more in line with other mission goods is not a outlandish ask.

as for you question see at the top where the tag says feature previews & “FEEDBACK” blame google this is where it landed me.

To transport a prisoner you’re not just throwing the prisoner in your cargo hold next to our 1000m3 of uranium and stack of mindflood boosters.

The prisoner needs a secure (and locked) place to stay, sleep, â– â– â– â– , needs food to eat, water supply, guard(s) to look after them as well as food, water and temperature regulated pace to stay for those guards, etc.

We as capsuleers don’t want to be bothered with all that micromanagement, so for us it’s all simplified:

Prisoner: 7.5 m3.

let m starve lol like the militants and the damsel

Militants and Damsel are guests/passengers on your ship, and thus have access to ship facilities.

Prisoners are not given free access to your ship facilities, being prisoners. As our ships are not dedicated prisoner or slave transports, they don’t have the capacity to hold people confined, so that confinement needs to be brought with them.

Yes, you have to bring the cell, the restraints, the guards, the toilets, the food, the water, it all starts to add up!

this would make sense if they were prisoners of the state, but the mission is basically warp in blow â– â– â– â–  up and rescue 50 prisoners from the slavers, they are only prisoners of a slave trade, not actual convicts.

Even slaves need toilets and food and a place to sleep. You can’t cram them all into one box, that’s a violation of the slave code.

so do damsels and militants not sure bout slave code .. but since you liberated them not sure it would apply ? lol

Correct, damsels and militants are not covered by the slave code.

and the prisoners are no longer prisoners nor slaves because you’ve liberated them, actually if anything i think the militants would become prisoners since your sent to intercept an enemy force.

Yes, you have it all backwards. The slaves have indeed been liberated, but they are still slaves and destined for the slave market. The militants are not slaves, because they are declared Prisoners of War according to the Yulai Convention. During training, you did study Space Law, correct?

you’re all missing the point. they want you to haul a certain m3 as part of the mission. whatever size you want the prisoners to be, increase the amount of them so the total m3 required is the same. :stuck_out_tongue:

What other people say is explanationish, you are hauling a secure cell possiably.

Some of the in game comonites for people are “groups of” which gets around needing hundreds or thousands of a think and just a few with allot of them.

This is kind of non issue but could be changed.
