There was one iteration where he did a Spectre Fleet and then tried to boast about 7 killmails with zero damage. Someone linked that scene from Office Space where they talk about whether it’s enough to just do the bare minimum. He got mad nobody accepted Spectre Fleet killmails and biomassed.
You guys are silly.
I don’t.
I’ve always believed that the way you act and talk in a game reflects on how that person is outside the game.
If you’re not a dick outside the game why would you become one in a game?
100% facts!!!
+1
Does dunking on someone count?
Does winning the pot in a game of poker make you a dick?
Does shooting someone’s untanked hauler full of loot make you a dick?
Does putting your last card down and calling uno?
These are all parts of various games.
If you don’t like the game, why play?
True, however (and am not talking about ganking here) often the other side expresses such behavior:
All rather false psychology. People do not have a single persona that displays in every situation. They’ll behave one way at work, another way at home with the wife and kids, another way out at the pub with the lads. And so on. They are all facets of the same person. Thus nothing actually ‘changes’ in some new environment and they don’t suddenly ‘become’ something.
Implying that people who do not play the game like I do are horrible people is not a logical argument.
It’s just a weak ad-hom from someone too cowardly to insult someone directly.
I dunno about that. In and out of game, whiners whine , bears bear , anti gankers are wierdos.
I’ve had someone come into a HS combat anom and kill the rats so I couldn’t salvage them.
I didn’t say anything but I saw the direction he warped in and followed a few minutes later, and yes he was in an anom, so I returned the favour and boy he was ranting and very unhappy.
So I pointed out that he had just done exactly the same to me in the system next door, what goes around comes around.
Don’t come up with a straw man you understood just well what my example was about, regular anomaly ratting with some competition, which is the very thing anomalies are about. I deliberately didn’t use a complex scenario that involves anything else like baiting for example, so don’t derail the subject just to try evading to admit often it is the pretend victim that starts spreading vitriol.
I don’t delve that far into arguments or examples.
I just pointed out that it’s not always the one minding their own business that gets all riled up and shouty.
He was annoyed that I didn’t take the bait, but then again neither did he
Same, didn’t claim it is always the “victim” side, but it is not always the “perpetrator” either who starts the toxicity.
Because often you can read their arguments and they claim it is always the innocent who gets trolled and whatever they claim but it is of course never ever them who start it.
As the saying goes every coin has two sides... but actually three
.
A circle does not have a side. Sides are associated with straight lines, and a circle is a curved shape with no straight lines, therfore a coin has 2 sides.
