Jealousy takes many forms.
Noone is jealous of you losing a horrible fit golem. Go swipe your credit card elsewhere.
There is no âdifferenceââŚyou simply donât understand the tools.
Youâre wrong, but thatâs ok.
you didnt know that youre wrong, and thats ok !
fitting tools can show HP and EHP but at first you had to know about it xD
Embed fail. Darn forum limits.
Nope. Youâve had it explained to you here a dozen times how HP and EHP workâŚyet you still donât seem to grasp it. The damage you take will always be your HP. The EHP is more a measure of how long it takes for that damage to occur. The EHP is the total amount of DPS that has to be done over time to get past your resists and destroy your HPâŚit is the amount of DPS the other ships need to fireâŚNOT the amount of damage you actually take. That is your error. Damage you resist is clearly not damage you actually take.
The fitting window shows your effective hitpoints. The hitpoints you see on zkill are damage taken after resists. Usually if you fly a cruiser with like 30k EHP the zkill value will show something like 15k damage taken.
The effective hitpoints can be misleading. If you for example get shot by EM and Thermal damage only, the resists in kinetic and explosive donât come into play at all. This can be good or bad.
The real issue is that a PVE fit ship was engaged in a PVP activity Which usually leads to the loss of the PVE ship. So how did this happen? There are multiple ways to prevent it:
- Always check your local and mark all ganker corps red.
- Use your Dscan and see if there are suspect ships like asteros, catalysts, thrashers flying around
- Use a Microjumpdrive to create some distance between you and the entry point of the site
- Cancel your Bastion early so you can warp out if something shows up on Dscan.
- Pay attention if somebody scans your shipâŚ
- Use a passive tanked marauder and make it harder for the gankers so they need to bring more catalysts. A passive Marauder probably has like 500k+ EHP which means they need to bring 5x more catalysts.
- Do not fit any green, blue or purple modules ever.
With those steps the gankers might consider catching an easier target for example a golem that only has like 100k EHP which is basically the EHP of 2 mining barges.
you never get a golem to 500k+ EHP and has a useful PvE Fit !
you still dont get a golem with T2 on 500k+ ! ( about 257 k EHP )
you dont even get a golem with your green, blue and purple stuff to 500k+ ! ( about 376k EHP )
you need the most expensive one golem + high grade nirvana set for your 500k+ ( 576k EHP ) [maybe a mid grade could bring you over your 500k EHP]
and we dont talk about Pulsar WH´s !
and you still dont have a usefull fitting for PvE âŚ
im now tell you how many EHP my Mission kronos has â 89698 with bastion
a good PvE ship ( some expactations like a snake ) dont care about EHP ! its all about DPS Tank and EHP/s âŚ
if you got ganked you are failed minimum 4 times before you got blown up !
EDIT: If you got a 500k+ EHP fit its usefull for PvE then pls show us and teach us how this will work
Mostly good information with less trolling than usual. Thanks for participating.
