I don’t like this CMS thing at all. Im a firm believer that we should keep it in game. i’d rather have a website that integrates with the eve login and we can tell you how we feel there without justifying anything to anyone.

I hope they fixed their crappy voting page so that we can check the candidates out on that page instead of having to sift through other pages manually.

That will just result in loads of alts spamming the same messages which have to be processed and sorted, this way you contact the rep who most represents you, raise your concerns with them and see if they can champion on you behalf, ultimately the CSM doesn’t have any kind of veto power or any power to demand change, they basically sit there as a sounding board for CCP to mention ideas to and use as a sounding board and to gather feedback

Let’s be real, the CSM doesn’t really do anything. It’s a free fanfest ticket the blocs hand out to valued members, not much else. In the last couple of years the only notable thing a CSM member has pushed through is making Jita a CONCORD system rather than a Caldari system to make it easier for galmil players to trade there. Which is so asinine only a CSM member could have come up with it.
At this point the less CCP listens to the CSM, the better.

The question is, how relevant is CSM these days? Is it really needed, and what exactly do we as players get out of it?
i’ve heard that they are the ones responsible for the catalyst expansion
You get to subsidize a 5-day vacation in Reykjavik for a “summit” that could be handled by Zoom.
any patch notes where you see a handshake, that is either community ideas or from the CSM or both.
